The UK has historically been more aligned with the US, but given the current tensions between the US and China, I think the UK sees an opportunity to position itself differently. China’s global influence is undeniable, and as we approach 2025, the Western economies are realizing they need to adapt
It’s clear that China’s role in the global economy is growing stronger, and I think the UK is recognizing that they need to get in on that. It’s not just about trade; it’s about securing partnerships that will shape the future of their economy. But it’s also risky, considering the US’s stance on China
We’re seeing a rise in tensions, especially with the semiconductor war. Biden is increasing the pressure on Chinese technology targeting Chinese chip manufacturers is a big escalation
And China is reacting by diversifying its own economy and breaking free from the US dollar system. They’ve been working to push the yuan as an alternative to the dollar, especially in trade agreements. We’re witnessing a strategic shift, not just politically but financially. The geopolitical landscape is rapidly changing, and all these moves are part of a bigger trend toward decentralization
this is one of those moments where the world is watching and recalibrating. The dollar has been the global reserve currency for decades, but with China’s growing influence, they’re setting up a system where their own currency could be used more widely. This is going to change how businesses and countries operate on a global scale. The West can’t ignore that
And let’s not forget that there’s a lot of uncertainty around these shifts. The UK is making moves to diversify, but there are risks in aligning too closely with China. At the same time, the US is doubling down on its policies
30%~50% cheaper??? From what we know, it is much much cheaper than that. American firms can still get them from the black market and they are still much cheaper. It is a no win situation for US.
Many thanks Sean, seasons greetings to you. China, Russia and a growing number of fellow BRICS countries represent a newly emerging multipolar world order; consequently future U.S. administrations will need to accept that any U.S. aspiration of global economic and military pre-eminence is no longer achievable. Moreover, the only way that America can now mitigate it's diminishing international influence, is by accepting and participating in the emerging multipolar world order; preferably as a leading nation state among equals.
They all woke up early on but just didn't have the balls to admit it and created policies appropriately. They are like a trans who thinks they are man but lack certain anatomy.
No it's not Brexit it's the blind acceptance od hegemony that the EU willingly continues to accept. The threat to the world hardly seems to be China and Russia. But you have to be a savant to know this somehow.
@@Rw-kt7qt❤❤❤. Great comment. Westerners in general, have little knowledge of their own history, global history, Economics or Political Science….so people like yourself have to point out the obvious to them 😂
Seriously, what indispensable resource, product or service only the UK or the EU can offer for trade to the rest of the world? Financial services? Sanctions against Russia is the penultimate example of why you should never leave your money or gold in their hands. Oil\LNG? Nope, they don't even have enough for their own industries and people... Strategic minerals?Nope. Advanced tech? Nope. Incredible manufactured products? Nope. China is the leading worldwide manufacturer for whatever product one can design. Education services? Nope, too much imperialist prejudice. Entertainment? Nope. Even western audiences have lost interests in what their domestic creative talents have to say... Democracy? Lmfao
Financial regulation frameworks in the EU provide stability and transparency, attracting global investors. The EU’s economic influence extends through the Euro, the second most traded and held currency globally, which anchors international trade and financial stability.
The EU is a powerhouse in advanced research and development, with significant contributions in fields like AI, biotechnology, aerospace, and quantum computing. Institutions like CERN and the European Space Agency drive global scientific progress.

Merry Christmas

You too, Sean. Have a great Christmas. Thanks for your analysis during 2024.
Happy holidays to you...
Get well soon🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
30%~50% cheaper???
From what we know, it is much much cheaper than that.
American firms can still get them from the black market and they are still much cheaper. It is a no win situation for US.
Merry Christmas Sean.
Thanks for your insights, in this upside down world.
Merry Xmas to your family, Sean. Thanks for all the great info throughout the year.

Suddenly UK wakes up from slumber
And Germany and France and Canada
They all woke up early on but just didn't have the balls to admit it and created policies appropriately. They are like a trans who thinks they are man but lack certain anatomy.
Doubt it.
Unless they make up with Gazprom and Lukoil, cuddling up to China will not help them.
Merry Christmas Sean.
A big thankyou for your excellent commentaries.
Blessings from Australia...❤
No it's not Brexit it's the blind acceptance od hegemony that the EU willingly continues to accept. The threat to the world hardly seems to be China and Russia. But you have to be a savant to know this somehow.
Merry Christmas Shaun, I think this also marked the first year of following you!
A joyful and blessed Christmas to you and your followers.
Has any country forced the US not to over produce, or produce cheap goods?????
The US has overproduced military bases all over the world 750:1 compared to China. Why isn’t anyone pointing this out? 😂
@@Rw-kt7qtBecause no one dares to challenge the big bully.
@@Rw-kt7qtRUclips has unfairly deleted my comment to you.
@@Rw-kt7qt❤❤❤. Great comment. Westerners in general, have little knowledge of their own history, global history, Economics or Political Science….so people like yourself have to point out the obvious to them 😂
US overproduce big tech
Merry Christmas to you too. Great commentaries throught 2024 - much appreciated!
Thnak you for the Presentation and the very best to all of you all and let us hope common sense will prevail next year.

Happy Holidays 🎉
Sean, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and family!
Democracy? Lmfao
ASML just an example...

would be fantastic if China appoints Huawei as "corporate partner" for deals involving UK.
All permits and investment will be channel through Huawei.
Merry Christmas Kevin and thanks for the very informative videos
On May 12, 1996, on a 60 Minutes segment :
"We've heard that a half-a-milion children have died in [Iraq due to sanctions following the 1991 Gulf War]. And that's more children than that died in Hiroshima. And..and... you know...is the price worth it?"
Albright: "I think it's a very hard choice, but we think, we think the price is worth it."
Still blows my mind how the Emerican govt and vassal can criticize any country while they still have these same people walking around in office to this day.
Your average American did not balk at those remarks. That shock and awe show is still very vivud in one's collective memory. They regal at it.
Thanks Sean! Happy Christmas and have a Peace filled, healthy and Prosperous year ahead! I enjoy your presentations tremendously!

In the US we now have a despot.
we have always had a despot who fights for the billionaires. The last time a US president took care of the people was probably Roosevelt.
Be blessed Sean, and a merry Christmas to you and your followers
