Legend! Those free throws were on point. He did misremember the scene’s dialogue, which happens long before Nolte’s character cheats. But, at his age, it’s understandable 😂.
He said like ridin a bike lmao og splash bro
The amazing thing was Bob was hitting those free throws at 66 and making them like he was playing again.
'I wasn't a great free throw shooter, 81 percent. ' 😅 The man is a humble legend.
"It's your friendly athletic director making his appearance to tell you that maybe kicking basketballs into the stands is not the best idea." haha Cousy was great in this role!
Yeah excellent story made my day for sure.
Great scene! Amazing!
He is unbelievable!
Cousy was good in the movie!
Nick could have sabotaged the scene if he wanted to, but he played off it perfectly. Two absolute pros in their respective fields.
this is one of the greatest stories ever!
He's the man the myth and the legend mister coozy
Love that story
An 80% plus Free Throw shooter... And he made 21 in a row. Sounds about right. No pressure, just hanging out and shooting. "Do you ever miss." Works for me. Cousy was just too cool in this interview and the movie.
I was an ok free throw shooter. About 81% or something like that. 81%???
Technically, 80.3% for his career, but that’s damn good, especially when you take into account what most players shot during his era.
funny story. Does anyone know when he told this story. He is 91 now. He doesn't look 90 years old here.
He's 95 now and pretty much looks the same.
Blue chips was good
Not bad for a plumber
Who ate Bob Cousy?
For 91 he looks fantastic
I beat shaq and Bob 1 on 2 and get the girl
