as a wraith X owner for a few months or two. id recommend getting you a set of gloves in order to tighten the back of the stock for the Co2 changes. it takes a lot of torque to get a proper cartridge penetration. also wait for the stock to warm up before changing configurations..... i ran like 3 carts and then tried to change to a hpa tank.........fuck thermal contraction of the metals in there make really hard to torque that screw off xD edit. take a peak at your co2 cart gasket. i had accumulated metal shavings in there that was causing an improper seal. just had to remove them and refresh the gasket with a lil bit of that Tech-T gun sav shit, just enough to make the gasket "shiny" no more. other than that. you should be good for a while :D
I wish some company would make an air stock that is same size as the wraith stock itself, so you can have regular buffertube size air stock, I saw polarstar had a Facebook post for something like this but it was never created. It was a concept for a 4500 psi air stock.
saw someone at the field about two weeks ago with the new system... I have an MTW currently, but I think Im going to buy another one with this setup as the configuration for my current and how I use it i don't want to change it.. at least maybe not yet.. UGH, this looks sweet as hell though!
Could you do an overview of the wraith vs wraith X? I am wondering if it's worth upgrading from the current aero? I play more sneaky stealthy style so no mass spamming of the trigger
Two questions: 1) does this finally mean that the new wraith stock for AEG’S will natively support 13ci HPA tanks in addition to the CO2 2) a major issue I had with the 13ci HPA stock was the size of the tank, which impeded cheek weld with lower face pro and hearing protecting, while also making length of pull an issue even with a 10” MTW. This could somewhat be alleviated by removing the tank cover and running the stock collapsed with the bottle protruding over my shoulder, but the new stock seems to be more bulky than previous iterations. Have you given any considerations in the designs for that?
@@DavidBall717 I do run a 9ci tank but the low profile of the Aero stock made running 13ci very useable as well without the limited air capacity. I would probably still use my original Aero stock if I ever did upgrade for that exact reason.
1. Yes the new Wraith X stocks will support both 13ci HPA tanks and C02. 2. Length of pull will be basically unchanged on the 13ci HPA, a little shorter on the CO2. The new tank cover is slightly thinner than the old tank cover.
Probably a dumb question, but im thinking about getting back into airsoft and Buy a MTW forged with an airline and seperate Tank. Can the wraith stock system be aplied to any MTW AR?
Can the aeg version fit on the cyma platuim reciever with its quick detach stock design? I know ill have to cut it down but cause the hole is big where the quick change is, will it still it and hold on perfectly or do i need a shim or something to place inside to hold it perfectly? Im moving from aeg to hpa but with this stock and just like to make sure it will fit without issues before i buy it
is there any chance you'll do a 417 version since p* is the only one that has it and i already having to switch from three different air stock with theirs and sick of spending thousands just to be disappointed
Well I own 2 forged edition wolverines MT wuse the carbine and the 10 I would be more than happy to test one of those out if you'd be interested in sending me 1
what is the thread size for 33g tank? 1/2 20UNF or 3/8 24UNF? can i use WRAITH with refill 33g co2 tanks? (they have likely twice pressure 200bar/3000psi) edit: there is 33g and 24g co2 tanks which is different in length. 24g pretty much match with stock length. makes it more comfortable to CQB. in fact they have tread 3/8-24UNF which i dont know if they will fit to WRAITH...

There are 10ci tank stocks already on the market if you wanted a shorter length of pull, using a 10ci tank would be the best way to go
