- Here's a little look at when I surprised Archie, Jake and Dan and told them they had the part of William Trundle in The Christmasaurus Live. I'm so honoured to be sharing the stage with these three incredible young actors. They are so brilliant and steal the show every night.

Honestly the fact that you're using ACTUAL Wheelchair users, let alone having a character with a disability as the main character in a novel, in the musical for the show when so many other companies opt to train a person how to use a wheelchair (despite there being hundreds of thousands of amazingly talented men women and children with disabilities) is incredible. You are setting a precedent for future generations of actors, directors and writers and you are opening the door to so many wonderful opportunities for the disabled. It makes my heart swell with happiness, especially as the daughter of a woman who was paraplegic and was denied every opportunity due to her being in a wheelchair. This is incredible. What you are doing for the disabled community is amazing. What you're doing for children everywhere is amazing. You're amazing Tom, truly, truly amazing.

Someone who uses a wheelchair to get around every day is going to be much more fluid and less awkward in their movements with the wheelchair than someone who usually walks.
As a disabled person, I cannot thank you enough for casting those boys as William. There are very few truly disabled actors performing on stage and screen, so this made me so emotional. You are a ray of light in representing disabled people, and I and every other disabled person are eternally grateful x
As soon as I saw I began crying. When I tell my daughter she can be anything it's nice to have examples of actual disabled people to point to.

Not going to lie, the moment you revealed that you sought out an actual wheelchair user for the part, I started crying. I imagine it'd be somewhat embarrassing to go on the stage to explain to the audience that there is no show because you've been busy vlogging
my 12 year old sister has Cerebral Palsy and I am so looking forward to go with her to see the Christmasaurus soon. It's so important for her to see real kids with disabilities get on that stage and live their dreams. Also, the theatre was so good at helping us get Accessibility tickets! So thanks doesn't really cover it Tom, but thank you for showing society that Disabilities NEED to be represented and especially in a positive way/ the right way.
In the words of my sister when she was 8 'Don't let anyone tell you what you can't do, because maybe you can do it!"
As a musical theatre loving teenager who became disabled a few years ago, I just want to Thank you so much for making this show accessible to all! These children shouldn't be discriminated against because they use a wheelchair and the fact that they are playing a lead role in a stage show now in London, honestly makes me so happy! Us wheelchair users are just as talented as our non disabled friends so why shouldn't we be aloud to shine! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart :)

Seeing Dan’s father as he hugged his son was one of the most beautiful things I may have ever witnessed. You can see how much love he has for his son, the pride he has for all his son has accomplished, the relief that his child’s dream came true and it’s overwhelming. Thank you so very much for presenting this opportunity to children with special needs. It’s important for people of all shapes, sizes, colors and requiring any accessories to have representation and you’re paving a way for this to hopefully become a more frequently seen occurrence. I am so proud of you Tom Fletcher. You may never know me, but I hold you in such high acclaim and sing your praises whenever the occasion arises. Thank you for being such an inspiration and incredible role model.
It's not enough that you are incredibly talented in so many ways, but you have a heart the size of the universe as well. There are special places in heaven for people as wonderful as you! Bravo, Tom!

We went on day two to the matinee performance and it was magical. I cried, I laughed and I felt so very Christmassy. It was wonderful.

I'm really not prone to tears, but when you just said hello to Archie and he started crying, I was a goner. And I haven't stopped crying in the last 10 mins. I'm so happy those boys got to have that experience.

My mum and I bought a copy of The Christmasaurus for my younger brother and sister as a goodbye and thank you present from our Elf on the Shelf! It’s currently sitting under the tree waiting for them to find it in the morning! I’m sure they’ll love it!

Oh man.... There are no words. You're just incredible. You never stop surprising me. And you always ALWAYS manage to bring tears to my eyes. You're an amazing human being.
