He was fascinated by the intensity of the Tsugaru shamisen tone and turned to the Tsugaru shamisen when he was in the first year of junior high school.
Currently, he is studying under Nobuhito Yamanaka, who won the Tsugaru Shamisen World Championship Class A for the third consecutive time.
Unlike the folk song shamisen, the Tsugaru shamisen has a thick paddle and requires a lot of power to play.
An instrument in which the expression "hit" is more appropriate than "play".
