Back in early March 2020, the Glendale at my local Home Depot in the EXACT finish had the very same thing happening with it. The light didn't work but the fan would turn on.
yes he was. The glendale was actually up against a wall so it couldn't move. We couldn't figure out how to turn it off so we had to get an employee's help. Turns out, he was able to turn it off by using the light chain.

The display fans don't come on because most of them are not wired up. The lights on most of them are though. If you purchase a fan from home depot and wire it up correctly, it will work.
Why did they hook up that Glendale anyway? 🙄 bruh. EDIT: I’m further into the vid and all the Glendale’s are hooked up WTF I think home depot is a little obsessed tho.
