    As a lifelong Met fan since 1962 I gotta say...this mans the best owner we have ever had! Hes tryin everything to get us better & the people who keep bitching about him must 4get the reign of the Wilpons!!! We've got Stearns now & some great prospects & i'm sure we R on the right track but give this guy a break! Hes really committed to trying to build a consistent winning team, give it a little more time! Lets Go Mets!!!

    I've never seen so many pessimistic Mets "fans" run the team down so much. Look, building a winner isn't easy, the problem is some of these players don't know how to play with one another and not jelling. Stearns is doing the right thing by getting rid of the underperforming players on this team and this team needs to get younger. McNeil, Marte and Alonso are not helping and need to go. Cohen is doing way more than the Wilpons ever did for the entire organization. My issue is we don't have players with a killer instinct like the Phillies and Braves and I kinda Blame Buck a bit for neutralizing the players like not retaliating.

  • @jwvvvv
    @jwvvvv 2 месяца назад +1

    Steve Cohen wanted to hire David Stearns to run the team. The owner of the Milwaukee Brewers would not let him go, so Cohen hired Billy Eppler. Eppler clearly convinced Cohen that the Mets could content right away. It did not work and Cohen hired Stearns. Stearns hasn't even had a full year to evaluate the team. He will turn this team around.
    For the Mets' fans that do not have patience while Stearns does his job, go root for another team.

    I believe the screen is so big and bright as a hitter. It must open up your pupils. They need to focus on the ball. That screen is too big and bright. The averages are really low to keep the screen off the screen didn’t need to get any bigger than it was. It is humongous and your teams average is really low. Turn the screen off. Let’s see if they hit

    I understand the fan's reaction of "same old same old", but we really have to be patient with this. It takes a good while to build a consistent winner and, despite the numbers being down across the league, the NL East is still the toughest division in baseball. It will take time to get this team where it needs to be. It took the Dodgers a good while. The same will go for the Mets.

  • @EdwinGonzalez-oh1pi

    I’ve been watching the Mets Pete Alonzo hitting 230 Brandon Nemo hitting 212 McNeil hitting low Francisco León hitting average basically the whole team with a low average I noticed that Steve bought a big screen in centerfield as a hitter that’s got to be really bright on their eyes and open their pupilshit his laser on the strings of the wall should take a look into that squeeze, but batting averages are too low. The light makes your pupil open something to look at.

  • @thomastaylor9237

    Steve, when are you going memorialize one of the great Mets, Jerry Grote? The players have a Buddy Harrelson patch, rightly so. What about Grote? He played 11 years for the Mets and was their best defensive catcher. They don’t win the WS in 69 without him. I don’t get it. This is very disappointing and disrespectful imho.

    All of of sudden he's positive about this team?!! He gave up last year! I'm starting to wonder about his ownership ability. He said last year hope doesn't win ball games. Hope won it for us in 73. He sounds like he is hopeful this year doesnt he?! I wish he would make his mind up. And just stick to a damn plan. 4 years in with this owner and so far it's the same loosing team. 😢

  • @EdwinGonzalez-oh1pi
    @EdwinGonzalez-oh1pi 2 месяца назад

    You can go and get some scientific facts since analytics is so big in the game today to see if the screen is affecting their pupils and as they go to hit, it’s making the difference we must check. Everything are hitting really low. It’s not normal. Somethings affecting their vision their eyes that greed is humongous. Let’s check this out. You gotta believe.⚾️

    I am watching the Phillies-Mets 2nd London game now, way way out classed -- it is clear that something is very broken on this team. The stars who had proven themselves in seasons past just are not motivated it seems, I am seriously doubting the decision to let Buck go and bring in Mendoza. The character of a team is often set from the top... the demeanor is driven by the ability of a manager to extract the performance from the player's potential. I just do not see that happening.
