First of all, "ADA" has got to be in the top 10 of worst passwords ever even by nineties standard. Second of all, it only now occurred to me that Annette knew John's password, that's a no-no, like, John, buddy, stop telling people about that. xD My bad attempts at humor aside, I really appreciate videos by people who know what they're talking about and are clearly interested in the games rather than making videos of it for the sake of content (like so many "YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS ABOUT RE!!!"-videos I've seen and it's always stuff like the ten most obvious things anyone who has actually played the games has known for 30 years now). So, in other words, appreciate you, appreciate your hard work, thank for keeping me entertained and amused. :D

Hold on. We know John worked in the Spencer Mansion hence the notes and in the comics you see that he did die and turn while writing his email to Ada which he never got to send before being killed by Jill. But how the hell did Annette knew he died and turn into a zombie? It's not like she was watching to make sure all the workers died so how would she know whether he turned or not?
She would have known about the mansion employees quarantined after the T Virus leak. She would also have access to something like a duty roster to see who was there at the time the quarantine was initiated. Wouldn't be difficult to put the pieces together.
@@rc59191 If that is something she had acess to or took time to look into, then it would be possible she knew of John turning. Only problem is 'Would' she even look at that roster to know. Other than that, could be possible.
@@AkiraHitoshi115 I'm sure she would look at it John was a pretty important researcher at the lab. It would make sense to want to know who was where during that time.
The story changes in the Remake games are due to hindsight and foreshadowing of what's to come. The characterization of John and Ada's relationship was nice but ultimately it played very little in thw grand scheme of the story. Especially if there is no John in the story changes for a brand new Remake of the first game. In short, her being involved with John doesn't really change much. It adds to her character a bit, but like she moves on faster than the Flash when he's late for work.
damn, it really makes you dislike her remake characterization even more. imagine if we had a scene of ada forcing herself to shoot the zombie john, kinda like how steve does to his dad in CV, only this time, it wouldn't have a cringe FATHER line at the end
They fumbled the ball on Ada in BOTH remakes so hard. It's like the developers had a grudge in her character or something. Her voice actress in RE4 remake sounds half asleep!
Same goes to jill in re3 remake as well, now I am really more worried if Capcom decided to butchered or even character assassination to rebecca just like what they done to ada and jill in the remakes.

As much as i love Ada she got over John's death and moved onto Leon REALLY fast.

From Ada's perspective in the books, John was a one-night stand (and not a very good one).
