I don’t know why people hate on her?
she didn't always carry herself in this way..anytime she was on camera when she first got on the scene..she just seemed snobby and delusional and was avoiding the UFC level of competition. But she took a turn somewhere with how she does her media because she's way more relaxed and likable. I think it was the loss she had, humbled her real quick...shes nice af now. I enjoy listening to her talk.

Because women do not have a 145 division. If it was a one-off fight, they would. However, if she has any aspirations of obtaining a belt, she must fight in one of the official divisions.

I don't think you understand the impact that weight cut is going to have on her physically and her performance. When do you think is the last time she's weighed 135 lbs in her life? Maybe middle school. Trying that cut for the first time at her age is going to be rough. I hope all of it's bs, the cut goes great and she does perform at her best.
@@BMOB510LA holly has no skills unless you think hugging on the fence is a skill. Male fighters cut much more weight than Kayla is cutting and are fine. I mean look at the heavyweights. they have to weigh in at 265 and most of them are closer to 300 pounds when not fighting. if they can cut that weight kayla can to. people also seem to think that cause she competed at 170 pounds in judo that's what she actually weighs. she actually weighs closer to 160 so a 25 pound weight cut isn't that bad. like I said, male fighters typically cut a lot more weight to fight and are alright. look at at Rumble Johnson. if she does it right she should have nothing to worry about.

yes she's older, she doesn't have the speed and power she had when she beat Ronda. but she's tricky to fight man all the girls that fight her say the same thing.

5-8 years ago with her skills etc she has today I believe she could. her defensive wrestling has gotten deceptively good, and theirs a very good chance kayla will be drained in this fight, and Holly's footwork and movement might be a bit much.
there's too many it's and buts about this fight we haven't seen kayla at 135 so theirs grey areas that no one can answer.
but it would take a lot of factors for kayla to dominate holly here

But if she can maul Holly bad and finish her she can maybe jump the line. 135 needs all the help it can get right now though so hopefully can make weight and fight in a way that at least generates some interest. Women are literally in the the ufc because of that division so it's weird seeing it be so bland right now.

Hard to root for one or the other because they are both good people and great warriors.
This is so similar to Rhonda versus the preacher’s daughter. So the big question is….does Kayla have better stand up and defense than Rhonda? I think she will be as surprised as Rhonda was, at the snap and speed of holly. There is zero telegraph in holly’s strikes. You can’t prepare for that, so you can’t defend against it. Kayla will learn to neutralize this quickly or suffer the same fate as Rhonda. Bewilderment was the look on Rhonda’s face!!!
This is nowhere near the same fighter in holly holms, and the same goes for Kayla... I think Kayla is going to be a bit too strong for Holly to stuff. Probably looking at a grueling decision win for Kayla
Unlike Ronda, Kayla is not going to strike with one of the greatest women boxers
Holm isn't the fighter she used to be, and Kayla has different tools to Ronda. Kayla's not as easy to hit, and she can shoot for takedowns at a distance - whilst Rousey was quite reckless and almost entirely reliant on the clinch for takedowns. Kayla is less likely to get a slick submission in seconds, but more likely to maintain dominant position and do damage.
Now, Holm is definitely very telegraphed. She literally announces every strike that she throws, and she's a lot slower than she used to be. Holm has become more well-rounded as time has gone on as she has improved her grappling, but her striking has definitely regressed and that's going to be a problem.
