Try to check in nuke if you have the information on the depth channel, if not try to normalize the output as the video and save as tga or any other format that is not 32 bits
ALSO: You need to use the "Z Normalized Inverted" mode in the AOV settings, as most 2D apps will see the depth info as full white because the depth info is higher that they're expecting. See changes here: www.redshift3d.com/forums/viewthread/14215/ Also, check your camera's near/far clipping settings, if they're too big, you won't see anything but black.

Maybe I using wrong shader, because basic redshiftMaterial dont have AO pass. I was wondering how those card transparency was working in redshift..I applied rs material and used the transparency map for achieving something like that.But later i realized its the sprite shader thats is giving opacity in Zdepth and AO...
Thanks for this video! One question tho - in my render window the z-depth pass doesn't appear so I can't adjust it. It just shows the beauty pass. How can I view the z-depth in the render window?

i don't know what you did, When i pressed render button it rendered beauty pass instead of Z depth and Z depth pass completely white in photoshop.
I fixed the same problem by changing the channel to Z in Redshift Render View.
