You just simply make someone love nursing. Since I started listening to you, I have been able to understand so many things about disease process, how the body works. There is a reason am going into nursing and that purpose is beginning to be fulfilled. Thanks so much.
I’m learning psych right now. I have been following you Professor D since my LPN days and I am about to graduate with my RN in May. You’re my secret weapon. I’ve shared you to so many people. If they don’t watch you, they are MISSING OUT!
i just wanna tell you i was not doing good in nusring school i watched your lectures here and i got 84 thanks for all you do may god bless you more and more
Thank you, I'm here today because I was able to understand therapeutic communication so well which I got alot of on my fundamentals exam. Now I'm on to Mental health:)
I just have to say , I almost cried at 18:25..As a nursing student and fellow medical professional, THANK you. Thank you for taking such dominance in the importance of PMH and I commend the way your voiced changed when talking about abuse. Such a great teacher.
thank you for this!! i listed to a few of your videos and integrated them into my studying and i got a 90% on my ATI Psych Exam! awesome vid. subscribed! will continue to watch your vids to study :)
You are amazing!! i recently started following you. I am taking the HESI next week and feel really confident d/t watching your videos. By the way your make up is fire!!!
Professor D, i love your videos, you are so straight forward with rationales. I am 1 day away from graduating nursing school, if i could change one thing it would be that i wish i had found you sooner! Keep up the great work!
Im about to go buy a note book and take notes on all your videos! Imma pass this nclex in October! I havent bought audios yet I cover GI next week in my nursing school and once I see what they are talking about if its exactly what is covered in your lessons I will purchase.
Thank you for your videos and rationales! I’ve been watching you through RN school and always see something you’ve taught appear on my exams. Love your instruction!
Your videos are interesting and so much more easier to understand than the Mental Health book they give us for the class In my current Rn program. I will continue to watch & your sense of humor makes it even more interesting to remember. Thank you much🙏🏽
I'm glad I came across your videos at this time which is great. I wish I cave across it last semester. Next semester I'll have pediatrics I'm hoping you'll have some videos on Peds. I'll be checking and waiting.
You are not Daniellle steel, you don’t write your own story . Lol 😂 You are the Best and I appreciate all your videos It’s helping me through nursing school right now!!
This was a great video! thank you, I appreciate it. I have really struggled with my psych exams for some reason, but I truly loved my psych rotations. So it's a win win watching these videos on psych. I hope it helps me not only pass my exams and NCLEX but also help me be a strong psych nurse in the future.
I am currently taking mental health and the videos are helpful because you really break things down to where I can remember. Also I'm studying to take the ATI proctored exam in a few weeks and I really would like to do really good on the exam
Thanks Prof D. The size of the text appeared so small that with my lenses they still looked cloudy. I loved the questions and the topics. As usual I've learnt a lot. Be blessed.
Can anyone explain the agranulocytosis question? Every reading and video that I've seen states that WBC will be lower NOT higher than expected. Also, anyone have any tips for studying for a HESI exam. I've taken it 3 times. Always scoring just below the 850 mark that's needed. Thank you all for your help.
I was just about to say this, agranulocytosis is lowered WBC and contraindication of Clozapine is immunosuppression due to low WBC. I think she stated the opposite. Need clarity. Edit: I just researched the medication itself and leukocytosis isn’t a reason to stop medication. Only point of stopping clozapine is agranulocytosis.
im struggling with lab values, not just in MH but generally, especially med-surg. Does anyone have a helpful cheat sheet they can link or tips on understanding them better? btw, i love your videos! I wish you had a podcast! lol
I'm confused about question 9. Isn't 13,000 high...indicating an infection? But she said agranulocytosis twice, I thought that was a low WBC. I know that that med can lower WBC, but I thought 13k was high.
13,000 is high which is a sign of infection. Agranulocytosis is a reduction in the number of granulocytes in the blood. Which leaves you susceptible to infections so because the WBC is high (infection) I think don't quote me on this... The number of granulocytes (bacteria killing cells) in the blood is low which is why the patient was prone to an infection. Which explains why they have an infection (high WBC) because they didn't have enough granulocytes to fight off the bacteria... So now we're worried about Agranulocytosis.... This is my guess I'm not 100% sure... I'm still in school 😂
Hi Professor Deliverance! I hope all is well with you and your family 😊. I’m definitely going to watch all your videos, now that I came across your channel. I wanted to ask can you please cover Pediatrics and OB? I would really appreciate it, thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏 oh It’s Deborah btw ☺️
for the 1rst question you said the answer was #3 but verbalized answer #2 which was " the patient who was hearing voices about hurting his mother". please can you clarify which answer choice is accurate.
When you have a multiple choice question, you have to think to yourself if you can only do one thing what would that be? You have to choose the priority.

Hlo ma'am , what I felt is, you really explain well about why this ans is right but yo are not mentioning about how to eliminate the wrong ans first.
Thank you

Thank you!!!!
You are amazing 😘
Where r these questions r from mam ?❤
I will go to my test and the teacher will ask my name and I just gonna shout Move the patient from the stimuli Lol
This music is too much , just started psyche and Prof D is my go to but that competition with the noise
Thank youuuu!!!!❤
Ms. D can you pleaseee pleaseee do some new gen psych videos?
Did anyone else see the circular light go across the screen at about 5:19?! 😳
love it
The background music is distracting.
Hi Prof D pls if you could cover about Abuse topic thank you.❤
for the 1rst question you said the answer was #3 but verbalized answer #2 which was " the patient who was hearing voices about hurting his mother". please can you clarify which answer choice is accurate.
What’s the time stamp please?
Your awesome. Can u please stop that background music. It is really disturbing. Thanks
I did, thanks
That music is not it Dr D lol
Yep, that’s why I got rid of it. Everyone hated it!!!😂
Why can’t we have the man removed by security??
When you have a multiple choice question, you have to think to yourself if you can only do one thing what would that be? You have to choose the priority.
Are the questions more about therapeutic communication and safety?
Does anyone know what book she is using?
I have over 200 NCLEX books that I chose questions from weekly. I pick one at random each time😉
I like the videos but can you PLEASE not play music in the background it's very distracting
I stopped, this was one of my earlier videos 😂
I’m finding the background music so distracting- I can’t listen to the answers 😂
