I loved the cpu and platform... on 280mm aio was able to get 4.6ghz all core and quad channel memory at 2133mhz. Spent weeks tuning the fruequency and memory timing. Hacking the bios for booting from pcie nvme adapter ... with 40 pcie lanes ... just great :)
@bonafide7027 i did not hold that long :) switched to 10900k (40% discount) when 11900k come out. I usually upgrade over 6-8 gens. Envy the 285k :) enjoy
And here I am watching this while gaming with my 4770K and realising how long I've really had it, doesnt feel like 10 years. I have a much newer GPU though.
I ran for a while on an 10400f/3733 sticks with v64/1080ti in wz and at 1080p basic it was most of the time at 140-160fps, ofcourse it could drop to 90 sometimes so not so bad of the old hexa ivy hedt platform
Currently using Dell Optiplex 9010 | I7-3770 with RX580. It can play medium to high settings at 1080p. The onboard graphics can't handle games because of unity error and games won't run anymore. Just convert your office PC to gaming by slapping some decent GPU and it will last a few more years. You don't have to buy the latest and fastest hardware. Just enjoy life and chill with the classics.
@@ziginsh I eliminated all other bottlenecks. 32gb DDR3 1600 is more than enough, OS on SATA3 SSD, games on another SATA3 SSD to have more bandwidth. The only component pegged was the 4060.

Me too, but 4.5 ghz still today. Upgraded to the 285k tho. So 10 years

As day's goes by, your presentations becoming increasingly handsome.
Keep going.
Thank you so much for kind words 😀
i discover your channel few minutes ago and loving it keep working! from brazil👍
Thanks!
I have on my second pc with 4790k. This is a beast. Still holds 60+fps on 1080p in games.
Exactly!
Had the 4930k too in 2013. But it was the Asus x79 deluxe for me. That enthusiast platform cost were huge at the time.
the mobo was like 300 EUR.
Cost has only increased since then I mean mid range mobos cost 250 nowadays
Yeah, but performance per dollar also is marginaly higher!
I love content like this!

I'd say that in nowadays you need to watch closer on what games you are willing to sacrifice and what don't.
I'm still using Haswell systems, a Xeon E3-1285L v3 with RTX4060 and an E3-1270 v3 with RTX2060Super. No need to upgrade yet.
You sure? Isn't RTX 4060 big bottleneck?
Afterburner shows me 100% GPU usage, the CPU never goes above 70%
Interesting, I'm looking forward to test that combo!

Fair enought!
1150 is one of the best generations
I better like 1151, but you are not wrong, that socket was between budget and high-end CPU's!
@ I use e3 1220 v3 Xeon like my main tile this day
Not bad!
You wanted to make a video for the i7-3930K to show how it runs on emulators like RPCS3 and Ryujinx. Did that video turn into this one?
No, I'm still researching and learning about emulators!
@@ziginsh If you need help with setting them up, UrCasualGamer has videos for that.
Roger that, thanks!
I wanted to tell you that you need put some jokes into video until I got to the dota 2 benchmark. Nice joke about MOBA games!
It wasn't a joke, I really don't understand it! *JOKE
