Confident is most certainly an excellent educator. However, and with due respect, there are dozens more experienced and highly gifted Maths teachers in colleges around South Africa, teaching significantly more advanced Maths than N1, N2, N3 and N4. Unfortunately, it seems that you have not had the best of teachers in the past.
I'm missing something at 11:20 . Why can that positive 3 be cancelled? I was thinking you would "subtract" it from the negative 3, but then you would end up with zero to the power of two(0²), which does not look right. Edit I understood it after someone watched the video with me. I didn't know it could be done it that way.

The exponent on the 3 protects it from being 'subtracted' and you must apply instead the laws with division.
It’s called, CONVERTING from ROOT form to EXPONENTIAL form!
