Three things - 1) I wish that they would improve the bomb impact animation to show flying clods of earth and a small crater BEFORE the bomb goes off. 2) I wish that a bomb landing on a vehicle should cause damage from impact velocity alone and finally 3) I wish that they would make better animations for really big bombs, something along the lines of the nuke but on a much smaller scale.
i wish bombs like this werent available in Ground RB unless they change how they work. Its already bad enough facing other tanks and having to gamble whether or not on this map, this house can or cant be used as cover.
Imagine a five-minute-timer on a bomb. You drop it somewhere, and everyone avoids it, but some people start ignoring it out of a desire to move through wherever the bomb is, perhaps a strategic chokepoint, and suddenly, randomly, it goes off!
That would be hell for your teammates tho. They might refuse to push near the bomb because they also dont know how long the timer is. You could tell them of course, but I doubt any of them would want to enter the radius anyways. And if they do, congrats on getting kicked from the match.
classic. im also curious about the psychology of why people just stop and stare at impending death. Stopping and turning loses momentum. Literally a few would have survived if they just keepp driving straight.
Because usually the bomb will be set explosive in 1 or 1.5s and all the real veteran players will just give up escaping when see such a big sausage drop on face.
I get the feeling that a lot of people also don't realize just how fucking big the bomb is, and some will go "yeah I'm far enough away" and then not be far enough away

I do enjoy how the comedic delay between when it hits the ground and when it explodes is juxtaposed with the poor servers attempting to process the movement of multiple vehicles so it looks like the blast wave already sent them flying

best part about this bomb is it digs itself into the dirt a bit on impact so players always underestimate its size so some will sit there assuming theyre safe because "its probably a 500 or something"

that's already half a nuclear weapon. I hate these big bombs. It seemed to me that the bomb was so big that in its range it caused brutal lags for everyone or it had its own gravity and it also attracted everyone to it.
It's basically impossible to drop that bomb in ground rb unless you yolo rush in the concept 3, cap and kill, then j out before the soviet planocopters have a chance to spawn.

I try to swing the gun back and forth in a SMDH whenever I see I'm doomed from a bomb to give a chuckle to the player if he goes back and watches.

Apparently bombs now so do kinetic damage - or will sometime soon (they said something along those lines in the latest dev Q and A)
