New Spells! One might even call this a new deck with new cards!
Actually, it's never a new deck, it's the same, you just replace some cards over time until you reach a point where you stop using all the older ones, creating a boat of Theseus paradox

@@Claudeteh Now that you've said it , it'd be a fun concept of pitting different iterations of the "same" deck over time. Sure, the newer ones would be generally stronger, but there should be some key cards that were rotated out from meta to meta

I wanna try incindius/sif/draw mage, with the cost reduced rainbow draw spell, and maybe stargazing, to hopefully draw all the eruptions. Could play saloon brewmaster maybe and Dorian.

I mean you say that people love engaging with things that are done poorly but even within card games thats just true lol. That being said wishing well is fun design.
30:14 I'm pretty sure Hearthstone has lost that title in the last 4 years or so (aka when they released Demon Hunter), first by Duel Links, then MTG arena, Marvel Snap, Master Duel and I doubt is in the top 5 digital card games atm.
I would bet it’s still top 5. Checked some stats today, it and mtg arena have very similar last 30 day player counts. Marvel snap actually seems to be a bit less (hard to know for sure as the numbers are all estimates but it was like 5x less from the monthly estimates I saw). Master duel seems to have way more active players this last month than mtg and hs but hs seems still very much top 5 for this genre of game
@@AzraelTheManHandler I saw it. Is in 5th place, which means both of us are kinda right, the game has Indeed lost a lot of it's grip on the market, precisely due to unfun gameplay and Blizzard being Blizzard.
