Warwick seems to always be ahead of the curve in the details of instrument engineering and manufacturing. Not to mention their wood selection is "topshelf" second to none.
Glad to finally see you guys finally jump on the multiscale train. Been playing my Dingwall most of the time lately. It really is a nice feature. Hope to see Warwick expand it to more body styles in the future.
Now these are nice basses! I admit I'm a tough critic when it comes to basses. But I have to give credit where credit's due. The only thing I don't like about Warwick basses I can't afford one.😥
Another great job from this young lady! I've owned several top Warwick basses. I still play through a Hellborg rig. Very impressive innovations from my dudes! This makes me want to dust off my Streamer I have laying around somewhere. Lol.
I'm a little bit wary about the lithium ion battery bass. It's nice that you can just plug it in and recharge it but 1.5 weeks of battery life is terrifying for a bass. That sounds like it can die on stage extremely easily and there doesn't seem to be a passive option to counteract that. Nice idea but I'd stay away at least for now
If you pull the volume knob outward you can quickly bypass the electronics, and put it into passive. But I agree and would rather stick with the reliability of 9v
Jack's Vocals ah okay having a passive function makes things much better. I'd still stay away personally just because of the issues that come with lithium ion such as degradation and how it might be a pain to replace if it's faulty
I never give this beauty to an airliner. This is lighter than a normal bass because they don't use maple for top or ebony for fingerboard ( heavier woods) I think I've seen this burl wood in Warwick's factory it was huge.
Warwick Is the best thing which has happened to me, I'm mostly playing fusion, jazz and still I think that the Thumb bass is the most beautiful sounding and versitale bass. After I bought Warwick I got rid of all my Fender basses, I don't even wanna touch guitars like fender or MM anymore ))
Try one. Thin is the last thing I would come up with when thinking about Warwick. I would like to get one myself some day and that Multiscale seems great as well.
My WW RockBass gave me the most powerfull live sound I had heard when I first played in a club using it... I was using a Hartke Cube 120 and it sounded like I was using a greater amp... the only weak point, in may opinion, is it neck, due to the distance and size of frets, not so confortable
@@AleksP1987 I thought for many times to buy a jazzbass or Precision model to join my Warwick... but I have a sensation that it´s not a good idea. And your comment makes me thing I was right
Lars Kappeler I think he said that's if you leave it plugged in. I guess it's a cool feature, but pretty less than ideal for a gigging or touring musician. You wouldn't want to charge it every time you went on stage because that's not great for batteries, but if it died unexpectedly you couldn't just toss a battery in it in 30 seconds like you can with a 9V.
First of all I'm going to tell you why I won't be attending Namm 2020. It's being held in the State of California and me and that state do not get along. The other reason is this.I am happy with the 2 guitars I have now and wish not to get anymore. So have fun without me.
Them and fishman are the only ones that give rechargeable lithium ion battery options at the moment . And I will say thank you warwick for this.. I need to get me a thumb bass at some point. Even as a Spector guy I want one.. I don't hate warwick's at all in fact I love em.

Warwick have always been ahead they are well known for their strict attention to details the necks and sound

I always want them to bring back the Dolphin.
that would be killer!
I thought I was the only one to think about this haha
You can still order a Dolphin Pro 1
Its not gone. You can still order one.
Multiscale dolphin
I'm seriously going to miss these bass videos (at least at the frequency they're coming out) after NAMM!!
Warwick is expensive !
But I want it !
I could listen to Hans Peter all day

With regards to the unique idea of a rechargeable battery - I believe John East has this in one of his products (P-Retro I believe) several years ago.
I just played a Thumb Corvette 5 string ( if I'm not mistaken) and the tone was incredible ! Great gear!!!
Gosh those basses are gorgeous
I love Julia, she is so Cool, and she can play !! ❤️🎵🎸
And that Warwick she strapped on at the end looked like it was made for her.
I want that beautiful warwick strap for my 2 warwick basses

I only wish these were easier to find in the UK, so I could try out various models before making a purchase.

I LOOOOVVVEEE warwick!
Can a person fly with the lithium battery? Regarding airline regulations. And, how much do these weigh?
You need to have it in your carry-on.

What is Julias personal collection like?
Built tough for bad ass bass battles🤘🏽
wow, perfect video and very interesting.
He thought, "this women doesn't know what the electronic cover is"? 😂😃
And these are the strings, you pluck them and they make noise!😲
Julia was inquiring about the input in the center of the cover.
I was never sure about Warwicks, they sound so punchy, yet so thin... definetly want to try one myself some day

Javier Fernández easily the best basses on the market! German efficiency at its finest

Why won't they make an entry level buzzard bass?
they wont but AliExpress will! lmao
Show i want one!
I liked the last one better lol 10/10
Only 1 1/2 weeks to drain the battery? :-o

0:15 we have here a Zambass
This guy is stumbling
More multiscales
Mahogany!!!
I would pay serious amounts of money to have a fan fretted Vampyre. Just sayin Warwick 👀👀👀
Maybe Marcus should adjust his piercing. Looks weird this way.
1:08 this is hardly remarkable as the 1998 Thumb Bass had 26 frets
Wenn eine Österreicherin und ein Deutscher wegen RUclips englisch sprechen 😉 Ihr seid lustig. 😋
