Hi, I think they were roaches. Some anglers use them as live bait to catch zander. I haven't got a problem with that but when they leave the net for a long period of time, them little fish suffer. Which p!sses me off. Thanks for your comment 👍

Bonjour Eric. God knows how long them poor little fish were stuck in that net 😢 The RVN is a good bait although I must say not my favourite. Check the PRDTR from Nays, I think they would be better for your waters (and Big zander) 👍
