4:00 Mixing something with water doesn't make the boiling point go down. It causes an elevation in the boiling point and it rises above the normal boiling point. However, adding a non volatile solute like soup powder will cause the freezing point of the water to go down.

I use frozen peas, corn & carrots, onion, garlic, gojuchang and chilli before I add the seasoning and flakes, and when the noodles are cooking I pour an egg that I whisked over it for the last minute. Doesn't matter which Ramen, but I love the Balduk 3x or Volcano Ramen. Also the 3 new Nissin Ramen are delicious. I also often buy a cooked chicked and pull all thye meat off it, dice it and freeze it and then add a handful of the chick when I start the soup.

Uhm, I am not quite sure that the boiling point would decrease. Because whenever we mix something to a solvent, the boiling point increases. It is a phenomenon known as boiling point elevation where the boiling point of the solution is higher than the pure solvent.
Exactly, boiling point goes up not down. This is why I always boil the water first before adding any solvents. When you boil water for pasta, you always add salt into water after boiling. Same goes for ramen.
@@jyk1996 The water is the solvent, not the salt. The salt would be the solute. When cooking pasta, it is irrelevant if you add the salt before or after the water begins to boil.

I am Finnish & I have seen a big difference in my skin, when I started to have korean skin care routines. I recommend warmly you guys to try the korean skin care routine. It's really amazing & makes your skin look brighter. Also healthy korean foods makes your skin look healthy. When I tried them, I have never regretted it.

I just wanted to say that adding anything to water actually INCREASES it’s boiling point. When you add molecules of anything to water there are less water molecules occupying the top layer (bc now whatever you added is taking up some of those spaces) meaning the rate at which the water evaporates (aka “boiling”) is actually decreasing. Ofc in the context of making ramen this actually doesn’t matter, but maybe this will be helpful on someone’s exam or something lol (this is a pretty relevant chemistry concept).

I love making Maruchan ramen and having rice noodles soaking in the broth for when the garbo is done. Little more work but when rice noodles go in the boiling water i start the store bought ramen. First time I went this route i did ramen first rice noodle 2nd...ramen noodles were terrible and I was sad. I got to know our stove top after a few try more and when the rice noodle water start boiling i get ramen going....delicious meal and not bad aside from salt intake.
