    Just picked one up at Costco and plan to use it soon on a camping trip. My only small complaint is that I wish it had a place to store the USB cable when you have batteries installed.What I did as a workaround so we don't lose the charging cable is that I used the wire tie to tie the cable, then fix it to the lantern handle.

    • @OWK000
      @OWK000 4 месяца назад +1

      The one in the video above is charged all the way up. The more dots lit up, the more charged. Does yours need charging? Make sure cables plugged in right and tight: usb A in a 5 volt plug to the usb C in the lantern to charge. Try different 5 volt blocks, different cables (if you have them) Yeah, it could be broken.

    Question? Can the light be recharged just by the solar panel? If so, how? I charged one of mine down and left it by the window for days, would not charge anything. I was under the impression that the solar panel should recharge the light back up🤷🏻‍♂️ thanks for the video and would love your feedback🙏🏻

Half way into our camping festival (4 nights) the in-house battery died and I put 4 D batteries in it but it kept flashing every 2 minutes. It was SO annoying. We ended up just using 2 shop lights I bought as backups but when this thing worked it worked great! Lit our 2 12x12 canopy setup on lowest setting perfectly for the first 2 nights and it was a blast.

    The could have made more rechargeable battery in there, instead of 4 x D cell area but it is nice that there is a place to stash the charging cable. I actually like having a bigger lantern sometimes. The red flashing is more useful on a lantern that size because you can put it on the road if you get a flat tire or something, especially on a curvy road. Seems dumber on headlamps that might roll away. You can always put a rock in the D cell compartment, too. D cells do make a good ballast. I kinda like the China versions that run on replaceable and rechargeable 18650 Li ion batteries, but this looks like pretty good quality. Costco's got them on sale July 31- Aug. 25, 2024 for $14.99
