There is a thread called Maraflex by Gutermann that is a stretch thread. It is used for sewing knit fabrics with a regular straight stitch on your sewing machine. You use it in the bobbin as well as in the regular thread spool. It eliminated the need for zigzag stitching. I buy it on the 2000 meter rolls in black and white and then in the regular sized rolls for fabric colour matching. I love this jumper pattern and yours turned out lovely.

@Sew-Happy i will try 8 and see how it will fit me, i don't like to feel sweaters tight on me, so, i will try both, and also, from your other videos i can make the neck round. 😉😊.
The fabric you choose makes all the difference in the fit, too - I may use something with a little extra stretch for the next one.

I wonder why you did not serge the rest of the sweater, only the bottom band
I was running low on thread 🧵 😂 I wanted to make sure I had enough stretch, and a stretch stitch used more thread.
