Just to "pre-address" some comments. Word on the street and through LOTS of testing with other R1 players, something still feels wrong with Frostfire Mage. I know they added 15% back to it through a hotfix but there is just something still fundamentally wrong feeling with Mage right now. I believe the meta simply sucks for Mage right now due to Feral/BM/Ele/SP/etc being stronger since the 20th anniversary patch. Hopefully the upcoming class tuning on the 30th helps mage in this meta.
Nah mate, if anything mage will get nerfed, watch, arcane got buffed and was not even 2 days when they released update where it was nerfed( slightly but still), generally i got feeling like whenever mage is top pick ( or even close ) in PVP ( or PVE ) Blizz fellows are getting calls every 1 min with reminding about need of nerf but when other specs are there - naaah, its alright, maybe one day we will tune it a bit....
Blizzard ruin all mage specs just nerf afther nerf cause people hate mage and complain a lot even when are not op and is the only class who every cc break with damage you cant just cc and oneshot like every single class rogue now is doing 2 M hits with infinite cc every class delete mage now with 2 hits and you cant kill anyone just frost have good aoe that all fire and arcane are still not playeable all mage spec was so much better in df
@@X23301 agree, i got no clue what blizz decisions are based on, i mean for example arcane - its far, far from top pick rate for any region / pvp rate yet blizz nerf mages quite often in PVP or even if blizz decide to give buff for certain spells , need to add nerfs right behind / week after...
@Aeghis could you give some advice for dealing with rogues please. I have no problem kiting any other class but rogues with the constant strong snare, the double step, smoke bomb and the vanishes when u create distance (which they come out of healed to full) makes me find them impossible. They just have so much to deal with now.
love the vids love the twitch! What would help a lot would be a vid where you explain when you swap talents e.g. what to pick vs bm hunters when you sometimes play the coldest snap or swap some talents around and i quite dont understand what the idea behind it is :D Thank you!
Youre awareness and reflexes really showing why youre one of the best mages out there. The kidney JUST as priest gets into smoke bomb to heal and the duel the INSTANT the priest trinks kidney was beautiful.
@@kudohlol9379 not to be that guy, but 1800 isn't high elo. i also hit 1800 with arcane as an offspec with little effort. Hitting 1800 isn't an indication of how strong the spec is.
@@Corin11 i mean i didnt see myself not going further, it really depended on if i was in lobbies with multiple melee, or if it was hunter / shaman / shaman type of lobby, also if u play a video game, entirely math based, there will ALWAYS be a mathematically superior spec, because at a certain point everyone is pressing buttons correctly and these games will NEVER be balanced ever.
@@Corin11 also I should add the fact that highest elo in shuffle is 2200-2300 being 1800 for a player who isn't that amazing at all is pretty damn great . If you know how to juke precog does a lot. It spends most of them spamming instants and not a lot of people know how it functions. 😀 Could be cool if they had a talent that made it like if you get kicked in arcane increases the damage of your next fire or frost spell by a lot allowing you to get off a big frost bolt or fire blast once in awhile or make ring of fire even more op which it already is. Anyways I had a lot of fun :) I watched aeghis video to understand the spec better.
Just for use your burst have to use first db poli and if objetcive dont have trinket just maybe can cast evoc arc surge and then when poli breaks you need still cast misiles and blast spoiler cast in arena vs brain players is almost imposible and on top of that every class delete mage in 2 hits now just one block and youre done cause almost every class dispell alter time and priest warrior dispell block to.mage hava a lot of nerfs now barriers ring of fire glass cannon flamestrike pvp talent was 200% more damage now 50%(so stupid nerf cause fire mage was the worst spec in game) orb pvp talent block all mage tree was nerfed even the tierset bonus is nerfed and they keep buffing hunters druids sp and lock when are broken is so stupid
As a mage you cant cc and oneshot well you cant kill anyone cause oneshot talents are useless just frost have good aoe damage fire and arcane are not playeable in pvp and every class delete mage so fast now druid lock shaman sp hunter so much broken
@@X23301 idk, I feel like they only do damage in shadow dance so if you shut them down during shadow dance it’s easy to win games. They’re a lot easier to fight against now then previous patch since I can keep up with their CDs
