My brother was top 50 in the world and watching him play against other top players was like watching real tennis on TV no joke.

That's how good top spin is. It has the depth to play for years.
Where as Virtua tennis is just a pick-up and play basic fun experience.
They are not in the same league, and the public reaction to top spin 5 backs this up.
It is one of the greatest sports games ever made.
Nobody thinks that of Virtua Tennis
Top spin was far better than Virtua. I'd rather play Mario Tennis than Virtua
This game has loads of potential. I hope they got the rights to all 4 Slams and the other big tournaments. If the roster includes most of the new gen it’ll be such a treat to play this series again in the modern era. Fingers crossed the gameplay and controls are as fluid and polished as they were a decade ago (advanced stick serve please).
I also hope there’s more detailed character creation, 2k golf was a disappointment in that degree, I really hope they have a different approach to it this time around.
I have probably 3000 online matches in Top Spin 4, that was the best sport game I've ever played. Servers was sometimes disaster, but this game was fantastic in terms of gameplay.
This is probably a day 1 for me.

This is such a beautiful surprise. TS4 was one of my favorite games ever and is one of the reasons I still own an Xbox 360. I can't wait to finally have a quality tennis game to play again.

The gameplay of top spin 4 was already the best, the series just need updates of graphics, roasters, some fine tuning of gameplay and more accurate animation of old and current players

Would be excited if it wasn't 2K. I can imagine all the microtransaction that will be behind this game. Probably will have to spend 100k VC to get our player to return a shot without falling over.
Stay away from microtransactions, then.
Every sports game is deemed as bad these days,
but the core manager modes and straight head to head modes are good.
It's like the entire audience plays the modes designed to take your money and then complain about it.
I love NBA 2k 24, but I play only regular season games and playoffs in career mode.
Online vs and career mode will be fine in Top spin 5, but if there's a microtransactions mode that people choose to play, then thats on them
