ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns with multi-Grammy-nominated Cuban-born singer-songwriter and actress Camila Cabello claiming her red chair alongside superstar returning coaches John Legend, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Carson Daly returns as host for Season 22.
The show's innovative format features four stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts and Live Performance Shows. This season's Battle Advisors include Charlie Puth (Team Camila), Jazmine Sullivan (Team Legend), Jimmie Allen (Team Blake) and Sean Paul (Team Gwen). For the first time ever, the third phase of the competition will include three-way knockouts.
In the Live Performance Shows, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast, and the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

@@jameshouston4868 What an amazing job he did for 16. He should be so proud of top 5. He has lots of time to keep shining. People get so nasty about who has a better voice. It's subjective. Many people prefer a quiet country voice over a power house voice. How exciting for him, what a wonderful experience.
Brayden has everything! Talent, looks, charisma, lots of crowd appeal, superb emotional delivery….. can’t wait to go to his concert and buy his music! He had me on the first note.
When I met my partner 5 years ago, this song was at the top of the charts. Every thing about it hit the way I felt then., so today I closed my eyes and just listened. Brayden Nailed It. 'In Case You Didn't Know' will always have a special place in my heart.

There’s something very important about him as a singer, with all the pressures being put over him , competing, live shows and the big fan base he’s making , he’s quite confident and performing like he doesn’t care what’s the result, in his young simple humble mind , he’s already a star which he definitely is ! So he’s just simply singing ! And that’s what I love about him , these competitions are made for people like Brayden .

so easy on the ears. Great tone! tho he kinda squeezes it out sometimes. This was mostly very good and that pleading sound at the top won't hurt his chances.
If you are going to do this song after Kirk Jay, I better feel it. I actually felt this song from him and he felt comfortable. This was definitely my favorite performance from him
Unfortunately, I didn't feel a thing so I ended up clicking off the video. Not sure if it's his youth or what but the vocals sound weak to me. Was this his best? Yes, but it's not enough. Parijita far out sang him and she's only a slight bit older than he is.
to be fair i dont feel it the same way but i do feel this song belongs to only one artist and im sorry brett sings this song to well however brayden did do the song atleast a justice it didnt pull me like bretts does but it did enough to justify in my view him staying in but as a none watcher because of reason of artisit like kirk who ended up getting screwed by this show are reason i dont back it i still back blake and his artists but thats it

Someone commented that he had no stage presence. That this was a serious song and that all he could do was look up and smile. THAT smile was perfect. I interpreted as if he was saying "I Love You" to someone for the first time and was nervous and scared and happy all at once as he let her know how he felt. He would glance up and smile at her face and the rest came from his heart. I really liked him since the beginning. That shy smile is going to go a long way when it comes to the young female fan. His voice will do the rest. Great job.
Agree. He has a beautiful emotional innocence in his voice. He is in the top 5 for a reason. Many fans prefer his voice over the power houses. Star it/x factor qualities are a huge asset in the music business. I hope he wins it all.
He has the greatest stage presence than any other contestant on the whole show. Who would make a ridiculous statement like that. Just jealous and worried that he is going to take it all!

Like sunshine gets you to remove your jacket on a warm spring day and smile as you feel the warmth. But I do disagree that his voice is really not a "power house" itself. In fact, his smooth delivery and tone eases listeners into runs and allows for the message of the song to come powerfully through. Blake's "secret weapon!" The "power houses" are just choosing songs from different musical genres that perhaps suit their unique voices. That's why this show exists ... to celebrate the differences 🙂
@@michaelp5790 I agree. Camila mentioned it also. It doesn't make it any less impact full because it isn't one of the voices like Kim or Omar. That's what people don't get. They say he doesn't have as good of a voice but it is subjective. Fans do get to chose their favorites. Lots of outrage with John's whole team in the bottom. How does someone like Adam Lambert and Jennifer Hudson lose though. When country artists continue to win, lots of people want to see the different genres but they don't see it. Just the way it is. I hope Brayden takes the whole thing but Blake's other contestants have a good shot also.

He has it/x factor star quality. The loudest voice isn't always the best. America loves the country genre. It does very well on the music shows. Last year on idol both singers in the finale were country singers. America votes for their favorite genres.

@@janetohara3904 “classic country voice” is just a nice way of saying his voice is bland. Parijita, Kim, and Justin should’ve taken his spot, he only got into the finale cause of Blake and the white teenage girls voting him through because of his looks.
He reminds me so much of Danielle Bradbury when she was on the show. He's young but he performs like he's been on stage for 20+ years. His voice is effortless. The show is called The Voice and that is a near perfect voice. Good luck, Brayden. You have my vote!
Huh? Danielle had almost perfect pitch and she had good vocal placement and resonance. I don’t see how they are the least bit alike.
Terrible take. He isn't even remotely one of the best vocalists this season. If he was an overweight 40 year old that came out and sang like this, he wouldn't have even been on the show in the first place. It isn't that he is a terrible singer or anything, he is just exceedingly average and his advancement to the finals is entirely based on things other than vocal talent.

He is not bad but he has no business being in the finals or even getting through the battle rounds.

The rest have careers ( some 15 years long) on big stages, music schools, etc. His voice is soothing and his look is a balm for the eyes. He is the complete package and is the only one who has the capacity to not be forgotten in couple of months. He is a potential STAR.

The band and the set of the light on this street was done before he can sing in front of an audience. The violinist we didn't know was in front of this graphical sea and sunshine where the beach was rolling before that song give him the night of all nights....Gwen and Blake have their say......
I love the stage... somehow it fits the song and the singer who has the potential of being a Star. I just pray he would keep his 'innocence' a while longer. Blake really knows how to pick winners and stars. He's young... and every woman and mother always worry.

This was one of the best performances I’ve ever seen on a competition like this. He doesn’t put a hundred runs or high notes or twirls in it like a lot of contestants do (while those can be very impressive and pretty too), but this natural, easy, singing-cuz-he-loves-to-do-it performance is priceless and the sign of a true singer.
