I saw Ben play at Indian Wells this year and knew I was watching a future American super star. Whether he beats Tiafoe or not, we’ll be seeing a lot more of Ben Shelton over the next decade! 💫
Great responses Ben. American tennis is in great hands and mindsets . You and Paul are the best at chatting thru the Q&a session and kinda use that time for a solid debrief about it .
Ben Shelton's style reminds me of the great tennis player who was Pete Sampras, and whom the media seems to have forgotten. Everyone talks about the Big Three, Big Four, and so on. But Sampras, I liked much more, with his serve-and-volley style.
Sorry about the many comments, Carlos alcaraz very charismatic so where the big 3 but Rodger did not gain as much traction as Tiger because Americans only give that type of respect to other Americans. The big 3 went further than Tiger did in his sport but Tiger was by far a bigger superstar in America.
Ben playing doubles is directly improving his singles net play. He is volleying beautifully under pressure. He can be a bit off-putting when addressing the audience, but he'll keep improving.

Nobody should strive to be like Andy (all power no brain ), American player new generation finally become more brain then power and that’s why they find success , also they find success because roger and nadal are not playing .
Ben looks nothing like Jackson, nor does he act likd Jackson who has a Southern accent. People mistake having the same skin color as looking alike. You stand them next to one another and . they will look nothing alike. Grow up people!
What a SMART and COOL KID!
He can SO be a major star in years to come.
He really is. They must some training on how to deal with media. I
No, he is not smart.
Very mature and humble. I like his responses.
He’s not at all actually if you watch him on the court

Congrats Ben! I am rooting for you. Lots of love from Africa. You have won yourself a fan here
I Googled "149" and ended up here.

So excited for his now and future - very smart and disciplined! Love Tommy Paul and Francis Tiafoe as well - go red white and blue!
It was an amazing match, so grateful to have seen it in person. I am a Ben fan, his volleys are so crisp and the serve is so fast it is shocking.
What a nice young man
very well spoken for being so young
I am Malaysian, and my brother was pretty verbose by the time he was 5 years old.

Think Boris Becker.
Exactly!
Saw him play Alcaraz in Toronto.
Impressed me to no end. It is only time he goes #1.
"everyone has a gameplan till they get punched in the mouth" - really cool quote
Mike Tyson said Everyone's got a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
Nice lad, really polite and well educated. Going to be a grand slam multiple winner
If he gets to finals he can make tennis explode here because of his charisma. One charismatic guy old lady could jump-start everybody!
