@@XpectoGO Many thanks, also with Australian ratings, they are sometimes crazy like some games that were violent were rated pg not even m, and some other like Bully were renamed to Canis Canem Edit Latin for "Dog Eat Dog" to get around the rating scores, as Australian rating rules are very strict. They also renamed Ratchet Deadlocked to Ratchet Gladiator.
I love open world collect-o-thon games, so if this ends up being a Star Wars version of the open world assassin's creed games, I'm here for it! If it isn't, I'm still here for it!
A late summer release would be great, and could also help out the Oct/Nov potential release of AC Red (I cannot remember any official date for AC or any official delays)

The gameplay footage js actually wide-screen so there's only aspects of the width cut off. The reveal trailer is in full with no zoom or cutoffs. Hope this helps, got the footage from Ubisoft Press site to which im a partner for.
This seems like it’ll be a spoof/take on the Kotor style/sense of gameplay, along with companions to take along with, being able to visit planets, and just having the Kotor 1/2 companion system.
Im kinda interested n color me intrigued. Idc bout space travels for the most part, but it kinda looks good. + I like how cute that sidekick lil creature looks, adorable)
The issue with Ubisoft is that they are a hit or miss publisher. I love Odyssey and go back to the game now and then. But they also made Skull and Bones. We also know that Ubisoft is moving away from single player games to live service. None of this in itself points to a bad game. But I'll wait on this one and see how gamers react once purchased. Who doesn't want a Star Wars game like this? Fingers crossed but I'll wait and see.
it's so weird to me why these devs consistently want these static MC the lead these titles when Star Wars should be more about creative characters and customization. We have the last jedi MC and now we have the outlaws MC both of which do not allow a player to make their own version of the MC....such lost opportunity to allow players to make their own to fully immerse themselves into the lore and gameplay of each game.
The first "ever" open world Star Wars game is and always has been 'Star Wars Galaxies', that is still up and running in 3 different versions, and managed by the fans themselves.

Historically, it takes place in between 'The Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi', so before the dreadful influence of the Disney Empire, and SW Galaxies Restoration is a good server to start on, although there are several other options. But you'll have to look those up yourself. Join the party, and have fun.

Yup. The people handing the development of these games don't seem to be real fans of the franchise. Instead, they're just using an already established franchise as a career stepping stone and injecting their own personal agendas. No thanks.
@@jordansell10 The recently discovered Tweet history of Shauna Jones, the community manager for Outlaws, would imply that she hates white men. They also include all the usual DEI activist tropes. But none of those tweets are recent. So she most likely made them before she was employed by Ubisoft.
It’s just a big missed opportunity by Ubisoft to not include a multiplayer on a scale of like battlefield or battlefront but I’m gonna buy it cause it’s star wars and to prove to developers that star wars if done right can make a huge amount of money.
Oohhh yeah if we had a Division 2 type of Star Wars game from Massive, that would've been insane. I'm honestly glad it's single player tho, but definitely open to a multiplayer Star Wars.
I totally understand this perspective based on the past comments I've seen about past Ubi games. The gameplay shown so far hasn't seemed like that so far, so I'll judge when we get more gameplay... hopefully soon.
Yeah, the gameplay looked good so far. The space flight/battles looks way better than Starfield. And it's from Massive Entertainment who made Avatar and the Division 2. Both beautiful and appealing open-world games.

As a huge fan of this IP, I'm sure I'll enjoy watching you play this game. Sadly, I did not see any of the platforms I own listed for this game.
Then I shall make this playthrough as entertaining as seeing Ubridge carried off by the Centaurs in Order of the Phoenix.

It’s Ubisoft, the graphics will be nowhere near as good as this. Unfortunately it will be a repetitive collect and reveal map.
