For the longest time, because of the low sound quality of the voice samples, I thought they shouting "Aie.oh!" Aie-oh!". It wasn't until I saw a playthrough of the arcade version that I realized that they said "My toes! My toes!".
They look like demented sick fucks on the cover of this game lmao..I much prefer their looks in on the TMNT II The Arcade Game's cover art..kiddie as it may be, it's so radical.
I think the SNES synth engine can only handle one sample per song, but it can be played chromatically. Everything else is FM synthesis. Six synth parts, plus the sample, that's what you get to play with and who ever composed this soundtrack just keeps turning out bangers.
I second this, and then shredders revenge came out. Shredders revenge is amazing and if you haven't played it I highly recommend it, It's like a love letter to TMNT Fans.
Shredders Revenge finally did it. Maybe not in the music department but it's pretty damn good. Should check it out if you loved Turtles in Time as much I do.
By far the best Turtles game of all time with one of the best soundtracks ever made!I am fourty now and I still freak out when I listen to those songs!
Such good memories of being a kid playing this in the 90s. I remember my parents watching me play this just because they thought the music was catchy lol. But I did also watch the TMNT show in the late 80s and have some action toys. Funny when your mom plops down to watch you play video games haha. But....I do that with my daughter too🤷♂️
Ragemaster yes they are. In the level which this song takes place, there are floating spike orbs in the water which when you hit with your hoverboard whichever character you are playing as will jump up and down repeatedly screaming " My Toe, my toe"
This is one of those games where the OST gets used again and again year over year by people. The 90's were really something else man with the quality of limited tech. they had to work with and yet create something that lasts and never rusts.
My absolute favorite music track in the game! The stage itself was really fun too, fighting the knockoff Alien Pizza Monsters and dodging the spiked balls. My toe! My toe!
Super retro baby! Turtles in time & hyper stone heist, soundtrack so good make u wanna whip the tv ass!🤣🤣🔥🔥😎 one of my great hits as a kid,tv blasting !🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have been looking for this song in royalty free music playlists for ages, just to find it's an SNES song that just simply was made by someone hired by the wrong dev team. No really, hire this man for so many other projects yesterday.
This would be fitting for fast moving adrenaline like driving on the highway, riding atvs, skateboards, surfboards, snowboards, motorcycles, bicycles, and dirt bikes. It can build determination and confidence while it’s going on.
why after so long am I just now noticing the syncopated single hi hat hits ... as always those SNES soundchip instruments sound so beefy. this song rules

The whole soundtrack is like that. Konami really added a lot of energy to their arcade games in the 90s.
My toe, my toe!
Haha! I heard Leo say that so many times when I got to the Sewer surfing level and also the ship level.

The spirit of the Ninja Turtles is in this game. Young, Vibrant, Energic, Humorous, all the ingredients of the brand TMNT.
