1st generation idols will always have the same styles to make people know they are ONE group, unlike the current and new generation idol groups they have different group and although they are in the same group, their styles will look like they're from different group. And since Shinhwa is a 1st generation idol group, they keep their past concept the same... that's what the new generation should do. Since you're in the same group, you're supposed to have the same concept, not different.

Disagree with OP. shinhwa changed their concepts: SME - chapter I, good ent - chapter II, shincom - chapter III&IV. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 shincom concept but even after a decade now, I still don't like SME concept. But if OP meant costume styles, I agree for shinhwa, click b, koyote. After reunion, g.o.d &ftts aren't as uniformed as shinhwa. Since jekki are the only in big 3, they get the most idol treatment &their costume style resembled big bang. After sunghoon left, their (&ikon's after BI left) costumes were uniformed like shinhwa but with YGE style. Jekki got another style from Antenna early this year so their style undefined. Nov 2021

I think that in todays generation of kpop fans he in underrated. You know how when people talk about vocals in boy groups it's normal to hear about Baekhyun, Chen, D.O., Jonghyun, Taeyang, Woohyun, Sunggyu, and to some extent Kyuhyun and Junsu...well Hyesung was an original member on that list but he's simply not that well known to many newer kpop fans post 2012 and unfortunately his last solo album "Delight" didn't do as well as us fans expected but that's fine. We know how talented he is and will always recognize his amazing skills and kind heart. Hope that explains what I meanby underrated. Have a wonderful day :)
