Racing is mean because what do you hit the horse to win and when the horse dosent win a few times you give him away and horses have feelings because i had a x rase horse that died
so you don’t know about the stuff the horse gets injected with just to run harder, you don’t know about all the heart attacks leg injury’s deaths and other injuries these horses suffer, simply bc they mostly care about the money , after a race horses need to rest, but no these horses don’t get enough time to recover from the race and they get trained at a way too young age , so their muscles and bones get damaged bc they weren’t totally developed yet
I really like this video but the only part that really discussed me was the whipping. Horses skin is thinner than human skin so if you whip yourself and it really hurts, its gonna hurt the horse to and another thing is that the racing indristy often abuses horses by putting them on drugs so they " can't feel pain " but then the horse gets more hurt and usaly dies. More than 1,000 horses die a year on the race track. I don't understand racing because all your doing is beating a horse by whipping and putting it on drugs till the day it dies! Now think if you were that horse, would you like to run at full speed for a mile long and just get whipped basically the whole time and get put on drugs, probably not. These are true facts so take them seriously. If you want to find more about this go watch and subscribe to Raigh Link14. She does swear a lot but that doesn't really matter in this situation.
•Luvly• I race, and unfortunately some horses do need the whip, I've rode a few horses that did need the whip, but most of the time during the race i just show the horse the whip to remind him to keep going or else, but in the final stretch then that's when i do whip the horse hard, to get the best placing and to keep the horse focused.
