Nurse: Character Analysis (Romeo and Juliet)

- Today we begin a new series: in-depth character analysis focused on William Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet'. I'm trying something new with the animation, so perhaps leave a comment on what you think of that idea. The animation was created using Procreate on the iPad. This app has a function allowing you to essentially trace a photo using an Apple Pencil, which is how I completed the drawing. I used an image of the nurse from the 1996 version of 'Romeo and Juliet'.
The main reference work (used with permission from the author) is: Bartolovich, Crystal, ‘“First as Tragedy, then as…”: Gender, Genre, History, and Romeo and Juliet’, found in ‘Rethinking Feminism in Early Modern Studies’ (Routledge, 2016).
