So I've JUST purchased these on Amazon for $99 out the door, and I'm pretty sure that I can find an equalizer setting on the PowerAmp Eq app that'll suss out the sound profile, just like I did for the Comfobud Mini set I have... THANK YOU for another GREAT review!! 🙏👍
This was really helpful, I like a lot about my 1more mini's, particularly the wind noise mode, but find the fit to be kind of weak and the anc doesn't take the sharp highs off of the train and fast ferry I ride daily. It's frustrating because I love the deliberately large soundstage they have and the case form factor. But with the new Anker liberty pro 4's and linkbuds S, which is the new best choice for Android users? Bose is unfortunately out of the running because they had the idiotic idea of making the ANC always-on. I also really worry about wind noise as a cyclist. The 1more mini's absolutely destroy wind noise, 40kph is nothing to them.
They only cancel out lower frequencies..but they do a pretty good job of that. I haven't tried the liberty pro 4 so I couldn't say but my experience with the LinkBuds s has been quite positive overall ...and I've covered them in a few videos and comparisons on this channel too
@@imwhatsnew I noticed that, and watched them while waiting for the ferry this evening. I'd be curious to know your take on the Anker liberty 4's, because you really picked out something with the evo's and mini's that I noticed a lot (that high frequency passthrough on the ANC and wind noise), but haven't heard anyone else mention at all! Audio reviews are seemingly just as subjective as movie reviews - the most important part is finding someone who shares your preferences if you want reliable input on what you'll like. I adore my 7hz diokos but so many other reviewers were really harsh on them. I love grado sound, my wife absolutely hates it.
@@colinmartin9797 to anyone reading, this man 's got it right. I try and inject objectivity but there's so much to language, context and subjectivity that it's important to find multiple reviewers you get value out of and understand their preferences (for sound, comfort etc) . I love the grado experience but I will gladly point out their shortcomings as well..my way of balancing out the review and discussion.
I bought the Comfobuds mini, but had to return them cause the buds doesn't establish connection with the app sometimes, so the touch controls doesn't work. I have to put them on/off the case until they decide to connect with the app. Besides that, they had a pretty significant audio delay in videos with my iPhone. Can u tell me if these problems exist in the Evo? I am considering them, but concerned with these points. Thanks!
Hi Ricardo. In my testing they worked fine and had no such issues. If quality control is ever in question I'd say go for the big brands..Sony, Samsung etc. One of the justifications for the price is quality control and testing.
I was wanting these, changed my mind. Why would you make such a nice set of buds but not allow your app to customize the touch controls with all the necessary features. Play, pause. Skip forward, back. Volume up, down. Not being able to use these functions all together without having to pick and choose which is most important to you, This is so lame. Should be standard on any midrange and above buds. Please change this evo.
Just got these, really love the sound! (Might not be for every one since there is sibilance and harshness at times) My major gripe is the lack of single-tap controls and individual left right controls, otherwise it's great.
first whoever say these sound good is crazy these sound great and when you use sound ID and now it has a eq they sound even better dont agree with this video
I feel like h hasn't tried sound id and the smart sound ft things. They are amazing. I amimpressed very impressed. I have had souncore liberty 3 and 4 the 4nc and the sound on the 1 more evos absolutely amazing.
The bad thing about the Evo is no volume control on earbuds. I bought them to use with my fitbit sense which uses Pandora which also has no volume control unlike my Raycons which are terrible(everyday ear buds).
On mine, I had to use SoundID to make them not sound like absolute trash. Seems like these have some great hardware and the marketing dept. turned them into crap. I like them but they could have been so much better with better choices with the software.

use their sound id, and eq it on ur own, no $100 earbuds can get half as close on how good the sound, especially sound staging, and treble clarity
@@ezrapardede1921 well, I also just received my PULA pa02's and they sound way better, right out of the box...
picked my EVO up last week for 90 bucks 👊 luv em
Great video! All the information a buyer with options would need
straight to the point (or points) very nice! got my upvote too

How do you compare this to soundpeats H1 sound quality???
I'd say they were better .

Nm i just found volume under custom control but my fitbit still doest see the evo
You can adjust the volume by setting it double or triple tap.
@@hashimalhussaini4183 I figured that out lol. Thank you.

They added an EQ into the app now, which supposedly makes them a lot better
dude , it is ambient.. not ambeint.
