Been to driven luck circuit 4 times now and haven’t had a bad experience yet. Always greeted with a smile and positive energy. Any questions I had were answered with no problem. Every time I’m there at least 1 if not all the family members have stopped by my tent just to ask how I’m doing and some times to just talk. Food trucks always hittin. Shaved ice on those hot days. Can’t recommend this track enough. Have met a new person or 2 every time I’ve come that I would now call atleast an internet friend. Oh yeah and it’s made me a way better driver than I was beforehand. Just don’t hit barriers. 😂
Man, even in the freezing ass cold, streeting the Z to the event and hoping I didn't get stuck in the driveway, I still had an amazing time at the drift scum event. The wagon is so close to being ready to make it's first laps and it's definitely going to be at DLC. So cold but so worth it 💜 can't wait to come back soon. Much love!
Motivational quote of the year: "A crackhead wakes up every day and gets after, so you can get after it" 😂😂 The inspiration you didn't know you needed! 🙌
Man i told you guys youd have to backfill the wall with dirt to keep it from being pushed back when hit hard lol. I knew itd happen. Also, be real dope for spectators if they could be closer to the wall behind it. Like they do at the real meihan. Mainly though what scares people off is those plastic barriers being so close to the track in key areas. They do SO MUCH DAMAGE. You know how i know 😅 once those can be removed (fill in dirt drop holes/aprons) things will definately pick up
Comment on filming all cars. Not sure about Driven Luck events but as a media guy who has filmed and made videos for events that have 40 or more drivers, filming all cars isn't really an easy task. I also don't just film the drifting because that gets boring in a video and doesn't tell the full story of the event. Anyway, if I did film everyone then I would never have a break in the day, I would fill up multiple SD cards with 100s of Gigs of footage, that then takes up hard drive space on my computer, and now I have to spend longer time going through all the footage in order to make a video. Because of this, if the car isn't "cool" (very subjective), doing sick runs, and sick tandems then it will not get filmed. With all that, if an event host or facility would like to give someone free entry then I would personally be glad to film a specific thing or driver. Or if someone wants footage and they reach out beforehand I can make a conscious effort to film them but to film every car becomes pretty much an impossible task. Again this is based on my experience filming events with 40 plus drivers. Also I do hope to one day film an event at Driven Luck.
We would love to have you! The idea with all of that is that a newer driver has at least SOMETHING to show their friends and family, it helps create a goal… or better yet a visual starting point to build off of. We understand it could be difficult in a larger event, but we are by no means forcing you to do anything 😂 it’s just what we like to see
@@DrivenLuckCircuit also, a friend who has been driving for years, has always said the best thing for a new driver and old is to have a gopro on the inside filming the driving so the footage can be reviewed later. This way the driver can see what they might be doing wrong.
I eard of this track before, it would be cool for them and to also get a greaty publicity if someone would recreate the track on assetto corsa and give it to the bigger server host so lot of people would experience the track
The general idea of media getting every driver, is that everyone gets to take back a memory of them driving. It’s also super cool for drivers who are new, to be able to look back on when they first started, to where they are now. I’ve had many new(er) drivers comment/tell me that it was their first event, and thanked me tremendously for getting pictures of their car! Just think about that for a second.
The Dillards and Driven Luck have sparked my love for cars all over again! Love you guys!
We love you man! We can’t wait to see you guys in a couple weeks!
We love the Dillards!

Media guy here, I have also been hit by a car walking back to the rails after putting a Sony A7iii at a clipping point.
Those cars come out of nowhere dude! I’m glad you made it out homie!

This was great except the mom saying if you do media you have to shoot everyone.
If you can make a bad car/bad driver a good shot, just shows how good of a photographer you are tho
