As for the entry this year, my thing is not the song, but to call it a trash I find it a bit over the top.

Another pretty good, albeit ballad heavy year. Anything which wasn't a ballad stood out like a sore thumb in this group of songs.
I feel that both the stage and the hosting was quite lacklustre this year, unfortunately. We didn't need 4 hosts. They should've just given the whole thing to Conchita and the show could've been better. Don't forget the voting sequence this year either, where it was like all the countries where connected to Vienna through strings and tin cans. That was pretty painful to sit through.
I have some pretty weird taste for this year though:
I don't like any of Italy, Russia or Sweden that much. Sweden, while a worthy winner, grew off me very quickly. I don't enjoy it anywhere near as much as in 2015. They're all good songs, but just don't do too much for me. I prefer songs such as Serbia, France and Portugal.
Oh, and I like Finland. I am probably the only one, but I actually really like it. A lot of respect to them for getting on that stage, takes a lot of guts. I couldn't do it. They would've qualified if it was televote only.
And why didn't we get nul points damnit?! Austria didn't deserve nul points, we did! We were horrendous.
Ireland was robbed.
I can't stand the people saying 2015 was the best year ever for Eurovision. Like do you like half of your songs to be only slow ballads? Songs like Azerbaijan, Hungary, Greece, Poland or Cyprus making way better results than Ireland, Portugal, Belarus or Czech Republic? The Top 10 is probably the only amazing thing about 2015, although the winner could have been so much better.
imo Germany did not deserve 0 points and was worthy of a top 10 spot.

8th : Italy - Solid entry . Slightly overrated but I see why.

I am really missing Estonia's entry. For me, It's one of the most powerful performances ever. And her crying in the end, it feels like real and I'm still empathizing with them, watching this again and again. Yes, I agree with other commentators, the best year is 2015.
This was such an amazing Eurovision year, a lot of quality songs, it's like everyone took it seriously (well, apart from Finland maybe), and also Australia's first time, oh good times...

Thank you for making this video.❤🙏 ESC 2015 was so awful. All the songs were so dated and dull.. Many terrific vocalists with the most outdated ballads they could possibly get. Mans, Aminata, Nina, Nadav, Maraaya, and Loic literally saved that year.🙏
Moldova would have done a lot better with better staging and a better haircut. His vocals are quite good and the song isnt bad either
The strongest year in recent Esc history. Theres about 8 or 9 songs that could have won and it wouldn’t have been a surprise
