Robert Vaughn & The Shadows Love And War (Extended remix, 2021)

From the Alternative Records reissue of Love And War (2022) ; two cd set.
I'm probably proudest of this bonus track, which was the original, unedited version off the multi-track with parts that were cut for the '87 release. The ability to remix that, highlight those parts, bring up John Nau's organ, and that wonderful guitar outro that producer T.J. Tindall played, just made it very special to me.
I don't know how much anyone else appreciated all those alternate mixes and unreleased material (having turned a 9 song album into a 38 track reissue!) but I certainly did my best as did the guys I worked with on the mixes and mastering.
There's some pics in here you probably haven't seen, and some from the booklet. In any event, there were plenty of frustrations along the way in getting this completed, but also some good experiences too..
If this is the last thing my little label releases, which wasn't originally the plan but looking more like it as life is taking me to a different place, I hope everyone who was involved from the band to those who helped a lot during the process, and those who bought it, can say they really liked the results as well.
