    I don't have a problem with water permeating the soil of my yard, garden, and orchard, so I don't need the increased permeation provided by voles. I also don't need them eating the bark from my fruit trees, and gnawing off all of my carrots, leaving just the tops sticking out of the ground. Name the garden plant, they have eaten it. Is there a blessing for the vole? Yes. May the lord bless and keep the vole ...... far away from us. Thank you Tevye.

    Maybe if people stop killing coyotes ( or other predators) for example, that would help to control the Vole population. Voles and other rodents are one of the main diets of coyotes.
