Most of them are great sporanos and also great teachers. Many great cantantes, singers are their students. For instance, Guo Shuzhen are 90+ already but still teaching at Central Conservatory of Music and she said that never retire. They teached a lot of students and led the Bel Canto development in China. Like Ye Peiying’s song “I love you, China” are very popular in China and all the Chinese know that. An interesting thing is Zhang Quan has seen Luciano Pavarotti. And Pavarotti showed his respect.

胡晓平太年轻了，新中国成立以后生人的，这些都是中国最早期的美声唱法声乐家，基本上都是民国时期的。
