I had the worst day today. Everything that was going good in my life just shattered and it was a total nightmare. As I sit here crying, this has been the only thing that has brought me joy today. Thank you for being such an amazing influence on my life.
These are so beautiful and yet so frustrating to listen to because each part ends so quickly. I can’t help but want to hear them play the entire damn piece! It’s like getting musically blueballed.
It seemed to me that almost all of Eddy's excerpts were longer than Brett's and felt like he still wanted to keep on playing. His delight was deeelightful to watch.
Are these guys getting better and better with each video? Their sound, technique, color and emotion is fuller and more confident and always about the music. So glad there is quality, love and balance in their work. Practice pays off. To the non-musicians' enjoyment and for musicians' own culture. We are grateful. Thank you Brett and Eddy.

@S They mean that it's a polyrhythm on piano. You are playing 4 against 3 while on violin it is just the melody line. Much easier for a violinist. Not the fantaisie impromptu is all that hard on piano though.

I actually listened for all 3 pieces (like lion elephant and eddy's elephant), so elephant and lions actually sounds kinda similar and I think that when you transform elephant for a violin it's becomes even more similar with lion. But I am not a musician so I can be wrong

As a trombonist, I know what a proper gliss sounds like, and only a clarinet and trombone can do that. I'm really shocked at how well Brett managed to duplicate that technique.
