Julie's story breaks my heart. I pray for her & all survivors. 🙏🏼 What's worse, she is not alone in horrific abuse due to porn consumption. 😢

I can relate so much to her story... my relationship with one of my ex's was going really well until I discovered he was watching porn. It made me feel dirty & degraded & it felt like he was cheating on me. He was never physically violent but he would make nasty comments which took away all my self esteem; after we split up, I felt completly worthless, ugly & had no self confidence at all. Porn is so damaging & can completly destroy what could potentially be a really good, healthy relationship.

It's been researched that narcissists and psychopaths like degraded stuff and they like demoralizing their victims

A chain that only God can break . Jesus is powerful and loving to heal any condition of the heart.

I read a study, that most sexual abusers are NOT sexually abused.
Other things play a role and neglect, hate towards women, starting with the mother, + porn + entitlement, + so many reasons and personality traits and more.
But NOT sexually being used as a child, altho it can be that some are sexually abused.

Heartbreaking story but what does this have to do with porn

Both her dad & husband were frequent porn watchers. This does something to the brain & there is a correlation between porn consumption & sexual abuse.

Porn overrides a person's natural sexuality for point-and-click, quick dopamine hits of sexual gratification that can degrade the frontal cortex and lead to more violent behavior. Porn is routinely studied to be a cause for a large chunk of violent crimes, especially sex crimes. Plus, a majority of mainstream porn is produced via large, very wealthy companies that create content by drugging and r*ping women, and filming it. So, like the exemplified man in the context of this video, consumption of that kind of context wears-down the viewer's impusle control in sexual situations and even platonic situations- and can make it statistically* more likely to commit more violent crimes.
*statistically, it is not super common for sex crimes to be reported or investigated, so I used this word to draw attention to exactly how observable the cause-and-effect of porn consumption is to-->> reported violent crimes and convicted sex criminals.
Porn companies and the porn industry as a whole also targets children and minors with cartoons, digital grooming and trafficking operations, child porn, and the same dopamine response which the industry is aware of (as aware of it as mcdonads is aware that the color red can stimulate hunger) and utilizes that to make money via add revenue on their individual websites.
Pretty sick, but ywah she also mentions in the video that he would watch porn and then force her to act out that porn w him.

Heart breaking but almost all men watch porn. Too much is clearly bad for you but it doesn’t turn you into a monster. It wasn’t the porn that did this.

@@tecumseha so the implication is that if you watch porn you will abuse women or children?
