1.try covering the cardboard with metal or anything that water doesnt affect
2.try using cardboard that doesnt get infested with water
3.try using 3 story cardboard so that the main cardboard doesnt get infested with water
4.if all doesnt work then try to go on a week thats fully confirmed its clear
5.try using wood
