First time I heard this song, my mother had just sold her 1991 940 Estate. I was raised in that car, I learned to drive in that car, I helped my Dad work on that car. This song brought back a rush of emotions that brought me to tears.

Drove my 17 year old V70 with 264K miles, 12 hours down and back up the east coast yesterday. Last 2 hours of the drive, the power steering pump started screaming the song of it's people. Did it fail? No. Did I get home? Comfortably. I'm installing a new pump & belt in my back yard today.

Just had to sell my Volvo 940 because I've started at a university and don't have time to work as much to pay for gas and taxes (really expensive in Norway). It was my first car, and I have had it for almost 6 years. Have been driving it for over 100.000km(~62.000 miles) since I've got it, so we have a lot of history. This song almost made me shed a tear :´(

SubieDiamond I own a 1996 850 R and a 2000 s70 t5 and a 1993 240 GL and they are the best cars that I ever owned, Volvos are my favorite cars I've owned a lot of cars, to me Volvos are special they are pretty fast and safe and reliable I want to buy a 2012 S60 R Design but my wife will not let me she says I have to many cars.

I grew up on Volvo. My dad had 2 940 turbos but one of them was involved in a car accident, and a 965. He still has the 940 turbo with 450k+ miles on it and a 2007 XC90 V8 Sport AWD. I got a 2005 V70R with ipd 3" catback exhaust and downpipe, k&n air filter, ipd ecu flash tune to remove torque limiter sonce i have the 5 speed auto, ipd sway bar and end link, pegs, and ipd's 4t4 turbo base plus kit. It's great owning a volvo because nobody expects a Volvo to be faster than them
