Thank you. I found the instructions they included were useless. You pointed out a number of aspects I had not worked out. I also had to get my son to show me how to use the app.
They are very useless!
Thanks for doing this, as it comes with really limited instructions! Most helpful
how do you know when the battery is charged
there is a battery indicator on the app.
I brought mine a few weeks ago. I checked out your video, and I was able to set it up easy. 2 trouble after I put feed in it and left outside no birds come to it..
it took a while for the birds to come find it, once they do I think they tell their friends. lol
How do I charge it up ? It bee. So cloudy lately. When i plug a cord to the camera there no light coming on to indicate it is charging.
@@timbrown613 I am in a very cloudy area as well, if the solar doesn't charge it then you need to plug it in.
@ItstheDaveShow1 what type of plug? I try few pligs that fit it.. it don't lite up to indicate it being charge..
@@timbrown613 usb C type charging
Had mine 2 weeks its not charged through the solar panal
brought it in to charge with the usb port nothing to indicate its charging.zTried it after 8 hours still nothing.
that does seem odd, might want to contact the manufacture on that
Managed to sort, tried another charger and it was 100% in a couple of hours and now it's charging by the solar panel, think it was the user ie me not the product.
I’m using the same bird feeder, thanks for your video.
I’m using the solar panel as a power source and I’m getting alerts saying my battery is low. There’s not many help tutorials out there that I’ve seen and customer service is lacking🙄 There’s definitely ☀️ getting to the panel so I’m confused what’s going on.
I am not sure what it can be, if the panel is getting sun and if it is plugged in good and tight then it should work ok and charge up
I have the bird feeder but no manual so i don't have the app. Can you share where i can find the app please.
they might have the app listed on the listing, link is in the description.
Any idea on how to change the time zone
it automatically syncs with your phone.
You can set the time zone by following steps: Setting_About Device_Device time
I have my hooked up . When I first paired it I received push notifications but now I’m not. It is still set to send push notifications but I’m not getting any
that is odd, not sure why that would be
Besides turning on the message notification feature within the camera settings, you also need to make sure your phone is set to allow notifications from the bird feeder app. If you have any questions, you can get more detailed instructions with images from the app's online customer support.
I have the same. It worked ok for a few days, and the solar panel connected but didn't charge the battery. Now it says it's offline and is having problems connecting online again. Not happy with it.
You can try bringing the camera indoors and charging it with a 5V charger to see if the battery might be the issue.
Im having the same issue,I've brought it in but still not charging only had it weeks
My camera light is blue and only one lighting up, and im not hearing a voice
in the app there is a way to unmute or mute the sound part, speaker
The user manual is horrible! How do I delete pics/video?
if you have an sd card in there it just records over if full, if you actually "capture" a photo or video it goes to your phone and you can delete it from there. You can take out the sd card and delete stuff that way in a computer of course.
@@ItstheDaveShow1 Thank you!
What is that app called? We lost our package.. please
