Do you have a video that does a full helmet dip? to prevent the unmatched lines like on a riddell speed that you can't hide because their is no hardware on top and do you spray it with a clear coat when done?
For taping with a double dip I have found the delicate surface tape literally falls off with water i had some issues with tape wanting to pull ink wasn't sure if you have tried it
What is a high gloss finishing coat that will protect hydro dipped items from substances like rubbing alcohol? Sometimes athletes use alcohol to get sticker residue off their helmets.
Normally any high grade automotive clear coat will be fine if rubbing alcohol is used to remove stickers. www.liquidconcepts.com/shop/product-detail/european-clear-kit
On a double-dip like this, I've seen people just let the first dip film dry on the part instead of rinsing it. The dried film essentially becomes the masking. Thoughts?
Yes we have seen that and done that before. We have got very mixed results with this technique as sometimes the PVA will go over the line and sometimes cover up a part that was supposed to get dipped.

Man I have really gotten into collecting NFL Helmets lately, and I really can not get enough of these hydro dipped designs! I was wondering though, I’d this something I could do at home on my own or do you need a sweet setup like you got there?
You do not have to have a Sweet setup as you mentioned! We all start somewhere and we once did this out of our garage. You do need to have a good area to work in as well as the proper tools and knowledge to put out a quality job.
I am blind, but rebuild football helmet as a hobby. I had a hard time following your video and instructions. You were not giving specific information, too much of, here, there, that, over here, like this, etc. I would appreciate if you would consider redoing a video with more specific and detailed instructions. where might I find more specific information about this process?
If my boys were playing this year, I would definitely get this done!🔥🔥🔥

I use House of Kolor products for motorcycles. Can I use the HOK inter coat clear as a binder?
Yes you should be able to.

Always informative and well explained,
Cheers 👍
Nice! Did you dip the first side twice? The pattern looked like it ran a different direction when dipping side two. Turned out nice!
No we dipped each side individually. Of course its very hard to get carbon fiber to run exactly the same on a very round object like that.
How much do you guys charge to get this done? Would love to mail y’all a helmet
