Storyline:-
Pratap [pradeep kumar], while stranded during a stormy night, meets with Varuna[nargis], and is instantly attracted to her. He proposes marriage through his family, and soon both get married. He soon notices that Varuna has some strange habits, which are compounded when he finds out that she leaves the house alone at night to go to night-clubs, and sings, dances, and drinks alcohol. When he questions Varuna, she denies ever doing any such thing. His mother thinks that Varuna is possessed, and arranges for an exorcism, which is in vain, as even Pratap is opposed to this. Then Pratap meets with Dilip [Feroz Khan], who claims to be Varuna's lover, and knows Varuna as "Peggy". Written by rAjOo

We lost both of the Singers. These are the only two cases, where I cant stop my tears: Firstly, when we lost Manna Dey in 2013 and secondly, now ....! At the childhood, when my life begins (more than 50 years ago), I grow up and starts learning the practical world, my mind was fed by Manna Dey, Lata Mangeshkar till date. Be it in duet or be it in single, they are my lights of hope at the time of my pain, frustration and depression. I feel proud that when I am alive, there was a true Goddess living in this earth! Now also I am unable to overcome this loss.
Superb singing by Manadey n Lataji. They r no more but their voices, talent n memories will always be haunting us.
And most of all to see Nargis n Feroz Khan waltzing is a pleasure to watch. They both r also no more.
