You will never feel more alive than at a Bruce Springsteen show . . . He empties the tank every single time and gives you everything he’s got. And that’s all you can ask. Remarkable.
I love your comment. I have only seen Springsteen live two times in my life. The first was in 1984, on the second show of his "Born in the USA" tour, in St Paul, Minnesota (this would be the night after Courtney Cox co-starred in the "Dancing in the Dark" video, at the same arena). Bruce started "The Promised Land". Somewhere in the first verse, he realized (and you could see it on the projection screens) that the crowd was singing, shouting, screaming, his lyrics back at him, LOUDER than he was singing and the band was playing. Young men, and young women, were feeling the late-teens, early-20s frustration, ambition, yearning, that this song is about, and standing on the armrests of their chairs in the arena, feeding back to him the inspiration live, that he had given them, on records, jukeboxes, and the radio: "Mister, I ain't a boy (girl); no, I'm a man (woman), and I believe in a promised land!" He got a huge smile on his face, stopped singing, and held out his microphone, for the deafening sound, the message, and the love (I think) to come back to him.
I agree with Michael. It is an energy I carry and love. Hairs stick up just thinking about the shows. Just want another and hope to be able to see him again after covid.
He has done this for YEARS.....I knew him when I was right out of high school....he comped tickets to my boyfriend at the time to see them at RUTGERS University...OMG they about tore that place down....it was awesome! He GIVES IT his ALL every show!
Not as sure - because I never got to see the Beatles, or Elvis - but definitely the best I ever saw. And I saw Van Halen open for the Rolling Stones in San Diego in the 1980s! I also saw The Who in the first show of their farewell tour in Orlando - three awesome hours. But when I saw Bruce in Kansas city, It was amazing! It was weird - one part of me never wanted it to end, while after a bit over four hours, another part was feeling like, "Will this guy ever shut up, so I can go home and fuck my girlfriend?" But to paraphrase Jon Stewart, Bruce empties the tank in everything he does, and he is the love child of Bob Dylan and James Brown.
A rare example of the purity and sincerity of a man who loves everyone in the house and gives them all the joy they need for one nite at least. Bruce Springsteen IS the Promised Land
I can't even imagine being at this concert. He gave Spain his absolute best, but they gave it back. What a great audience. The loss of the Big Man must be painfull to the entire band.
Like for many others, Bruce Springsteen's music has been the soundtrack to some of the most important moments of my life. From road trips to quiet nights at home, the loss of a loved one, or the birth of a child, his songs have always been there, speaking to my heart in a way that no others can. His heartfelt lyrics and soulful performances resonate deeply, capturing the highs and lows of the fleeting human experience. Every time I listen to him, I'm reminded of the immense healing power of his music, his inspiration, and his ability to bring people together. Never in my life have I seen so many people in a similar state of joyous tears at a concert. Thank you, Bruce, for the countless memories and the incredible journey your music continues to take us on, and forever will.

@Aisha a Sorry for being late... Well, my mother was a "Bruce Springsteen fangirl". As long as she were alive, she used to listen to The Boss. One of the best things that ever happened to me was when my dad brought home the We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions album in 2006. 13 years and 11 Bruce Springsteen shows later, i have never grown tired of this man's music, and I never will
Just saw him from some distance between tall people, but it did not really matter, because his energy was trough everyone in the crowd, and he was amazing did not expect him to have his way with his music, and really i am sooo happy now it is so weird someone can give you that much of a Boost like him wow, and even tough he is not 35 ( altough its a shame i was not born in the 60, so i could have also witnnessed him in his younger years) he still got the Energy ( My gues) from when he was young, just amazed and the way he was connecting with all of us in the moment it was like if he said something that sounded like it was going somewhere, and everybody was so qiuet to hear what he had to say, and ive heard about the dutch desease, well it was nowhere to be seen, because everyone was so focused on the whole show😍 sorry for my rampage of Him😂😂, but i catched his energy so i am going to enjoy it the next days ❤
For my Man Bushusha who when we were 17 told me in our boarding room while strumming on his guitar and while we were toking 💨 up while listening to The Boss that he would one day; meet this Great artist and for sure; decades later met him in SA and proposed to his Lady on stage.
This band played their hearts out every song every goddamn performance. Really quite amazing.
For my Man Bushusha who when we were 17 told me in our boarding room while strumming on his guitar and while we were toking 💨 up while listening to The Boss that he would one day; meet this Great artist and for sure; decades later met him in SA and proposed to his Lady on stage. Worthy Dream for a Worthy Dreamer. Salute 🫡 Brother.
Bruce and The E Street Band were one the greatest bands and could get a crowd rocking. Always put on a he'll of a show!
❤️❤️Fantastic performance! Great lyrics Beautiful song! When you play the harmonica👋👋👋👋So Beautiful! Thank you!❤️❤️
No one like Bruce.
Vaya temazo, la música de Bruce me sigue poniendo la piel de gallina
Well, there is only one Boss! Nobody does it better than him...
🐝 Wow. Remember concerts? The raw energy emanating from the stage that ricocheted throughout the crowd? At least we have recordings for now.
All thses years later, this still makes the hair on my arms stand up & salute...
Gotta admit it. Props to all involved, but the piano in this one is amazing.
I’m listening to the drums. Mighty max is a master of rock steady understated rhythm

Every time I listen to this man perform live , I feel regenerated physically and emotionally . Come and play some more my friend . I need regenerating .
I’m an atheist, but this man makes me want too believe in God. Speechless
I am as well.
Bruce is amazing. Surely doesn't make me.
But I'm glad I'm able to experience his music. Fantastic.
Born to run is my favorite... Hits me deep.
Don't do it it'll just break your heart
@ I believe in nature. You can see that all around you. Unless you live in the city.
@@kathyjacques2688And who do you think put the nature here? Everything comes from God.
Man created God in his own image, only better, so as to have something to strive after; we began to worship and ceased to strive.
I'm been singing this song since I was 15. Thank brothers
2:57, that’s trust right there, missing that guitar toss is not an option!
He is so in the pocket and going with the flow even this vid YOU can feel it. He's always looking for the magic during a concert.....this whole concert seems magical. I hope he finds inspiration during these crazy times. Digs thru quirky songs from ages ago and finishes them. He felt lost during Western Skies. Bounce, Dude! We need & depend on you. Wait on a true all clear before THE PARTY. C u on the road, the shouy from the crowd.
Shout not shouy.....
Preach it, “Reverend Springsteen!!” 🎤🎸🎸🎹🎷🥁
BEST CONCERT EVER
