There are also risks associated with cold storage, many people are better off having their btc in custody solutions. For most though they are more than competent to go the cold storage route, doesn't hurt to spread risk though and have some shares of MSTR as a hedge
Michael Saylor is a genius. Love watching his speeches. They are inspiring but at times hard to wrap your head around. You explained this all perfectly. Now I really get it. Thanks
What you didn't touch on in this vid is the potential NASDAQ and S&P inclusions. Changes to their accounting next quarter into FASB accounting will allow them to qualify for the S&P. Once passive index funds are forced to market buy MSTR this will of course flow into BTC. As BTC gets more power creating the loop with MSTR a larger percent of those passive funds will allocate into MSTR. Things could get really wild
Good video, but MSTR consistently outperforms BTC by a factor of 1.5 to 3....glad I sold some stats for MSTR last year...Also I don't trust myself with owning my own keys, plus after death MSTR is much more easy to pass on than MSTR :)
Dude, I don’t want to sound like the focusing police but can I give you a tip? Lock your focus to point where you are likely to sit and then set the camera to manual focus. Your lens doesn’t have a razor thin plane of focus, so if you move backwards and forwards by a foot (or even more) the video will still look great. But as is, it is driving me crazy because the focus keeps shifting. Anyways, good content with the MicroStrategy playbook. Someone actually called it a “reverse Ponzi scheme” which is kinda true and definitely funny.
The narrative for the past 1.5 years has been "how can I get more access per share to AI?" A.I. made millionaires. Understanding how MSTR is cycling bitcoin moves us forward to "How can I get more bitcoin per share?" Maximizing return and appreciating (not the value per coin, but) the amount of bitcoin per share of MSTR will make BILLIONAIRES! My wife says, "well, be careful, because BTC can go down." Agreed! But it isn't the value of bitcoin that I'm seeking; it's the amount of bitcoin per share of stock. I can buy calls, sell puts, build put credit spreads, use derivatives like MSTY or MSTU and the like to create more passive income, then buy more shares of MSTR. It will not take decades to reach retirement goals with a strategy like that.
i wrote this ahwile ago - MSTR converts cost MSTR 68 bps pts to buy CDS on the dollar - Sub prime CDS traded at 2% annually when Subprime Triple B traded at par .. same thing - at least with convert he is selling stock at a value that is 40% higher to buy BTC in todays price ( as for Big Short I was at the coalface and know far too well )
even when they issue shares... by raising money when the shares trade at a multiple to nav.... they are able to add more bitcoin per share after dilution.... because dilution of shares that trade well above bitcoin converted to btc = more btc per share.
Third Party Risk is a concern. The US Government is a concern. But the potential upside still makes it a no brainer to buy more and more bitcoin. They are playing Texas holdem one on one , big stacked and pot committed and have gone all in
Everyone who owns btc is shorting the US dollar by proxy, Saylor is just doing it on scale. Seizing their btc is a real threat. Trump is on good terms with Saylor however so we're off to a good start atleast
I don't get it.. why's it dumping today when btc goes up? Mstr was $260 when btc was 69k now it's 76k and the same price? Don't understand what's going on it's red today and everything else is green. I got march contracts and bought in at $240 and still negative....
@@DaltonAalc this is not a btc etf - it does not have to move exactly with btc... right now the share value is more then twice the value of the bitcoin holdings... the nav to btc multiplier is is subject to change. could also be some selling or shorts
@umojah101 never seen it act like that. And I think btc at 80k mstr is equal in value. When it was in the 60s it was 2x over valued to my knowledge now it should be close to even? But I don't even see how it's possible, it's the only thing on a red day basically. Alot of people our going to get worried and start dumping and moving somewhere else I feel like?
@5:38 - You mention they can just get their principle back. But how does Saylor pay them back when the money has been used to purchase BTC? Does he sell BTC or does he need to take on new debt to pay those guys wanting their principle back?
@@gragnaktube hahaha naa thats not gonna happen (building up the software business) Also building out the company takes time. Thats not gonna give bond holders their money right here and now. So not sure what you are trying to say.
🎉 best description of what micro strategy is doing with bitcoin. Thank you I’m gonna totally share this with my friends.
I’m with Saylor. I’m not competent to do cold storage. I prefer MSTR handling it for me.
There are also risks associated with cold storage, many people are better off having their btc in custody solutions. For most though they are more than competent to go the cold storage route, doesn't hurt to spread risk though and have some shares of MSTR as a hedge
I have been all in for a couple of months! The Math is Mathing! Future is Great👍🏻

Dilution for BTC is agreeable to me as a shareholder
Man really appreciate these two videos. So helpful.

Maybe that'll be in part 3, if there is one.
MSTR going to hit trillion dollar company end 2k25 🔥📈

What are stats? MSTR is more easy to pass on than MSTR? Are you drunk or just stoned?
7:50 Great Perspective my friend ! Love that. I mean, for sure he will at a certain Point get a movie also about what he did.
Just found your excellant videos ! Thank you for sharing your knowledge ! A Lion on a rock in the middle of the Pacific .

Bingo. Great comment here.

Is there a part 3 ?
Wurmp Inu presale has me seriously pumped. This could be the ticket to meme coin riches!
Every cycle has its top meme coin, and Wurmp Inu is aiming for the top spot!

I don t know how many x-es it will do, But i Know Wrump will absolutely make millionaires soon!
Bitcoin with a new ATH yesterday and MSTR dipped.. it’s still just a stock

Wasps get more aggressive now it's colder and less food.
I don't see how they're going to continue letting MSTR do that. I think they're going to be forced to merge with gov somehow.

That is so anti the Trump brand to force govt with MSTR. I guess it’s possible, but why would Trump be against a very smart company? Let freedom ring.
What about Ibit ?

its not dumping - its just a little shake out i think,,, could fall back a bit from here too but when in doubt zoom out.
@umojah101 yea but 69k btc it was $260 lol!!!! Now it's 77k and it's barely moved he's got to be dumping his shares??

@Ray-dl5mp haha I will i only got 100k in the options so was just wondering. I'm a poor goldfish in a big pond
i have my MSTR and MSTU in my tax-free accounts. lfg!!!
100x soon for Wurmp, meme coins will go crazy…
Every time anyone buys Bitcoin they themselves are shorting fiat. That's the whole idea from Satoshi. Sound money.

Does he sell BTC or does he need to take on new debt to pay those guys wanting their principle back?
He won't sell BTC. In a long bear market, he might have to build up the enterprise software side of the business 😀
