I like how Dumbledore's portrait just casually sleeping away after all these events unfolded. Maybe it wasnt ready to interact with anybody yet because the death happened so soon but hey idk 🤷🏾♂️
I feel like after McGonagall says that Harry meant a lot to Dumbedore, it's a unspoken word that Harry means a lot to McGonagall (wither she'll admit it or not Lol)
I’m here because of the news. Rest in peace to Maggie Smith (December 28th, 1934-September 27th, 2024). She will be missed. Gone, but never forgotten. 😭💔🙏🪦💐🕊️🕯️
@@EvaSofie He became headmaster when voldy took control. She was the deputy headmistress to dumbledore so yeah for this short period of time she was in charge. (And then took over again after the war)
The weight of the emotions in the first few seconds of this scene is just palpable. They were able to tell so so much in such a short clip with absolutely no background music whatsoever. The silence is haunting all on its own. We could not have asked for better casting. I tell you it is going to suck hard once Maggie finally passes.
McGonagall and Dumbledores support of Harry throughout the series was so endearing
The grandparents he never knew (even parents sort of)
RIP Headmaster/ Michael Gambon.
And Rip Headmistress /Maggie Smith

She doesn't need to say it aloud she shows it with her actions time and time again
0:39 little did he know that he was holding the most powerful wand in the world
Yep, that's the Elder Wand, which he would later become the master of when he defeats Voldemort.
Carol schilling, Joshua Dillard, neighbor seek her out

RIP Maggie Smith you was perfect as Professor McGonagall and you were great in Hook as Wendy! You will be heavily missed!❤️🙏🏼🪄
Technically it became McGonagall's office after Dumbledore died. Hence why she was already there when Harry came by to visit
Not yet because Snape became Headmaster
@@EvaSofie She immediately became Headmistress upon Dumbledore's death but was forced out of office when Voldemort had effective control over Hogwarts
She was 2nd in command
@@EvaSofie😢

Rest in Peace, Maggie Smith, and to now quote what she said to Harry here:
