I went out today at about 7:50PM because I knew that this was leaving from Menlo Park to see this, and it was kind of neat. It was only going about half the speed of the regular trains, and when it was going by, the operator saw me and blew the horn. I knew it wasn't for the nearest intersection because that is way to far away. Then at about 9:00PM it went by again northbound. I only wonder where the engineer was because the train didn't have a typical car in the front where the engineer goes.
Very impressed by this. It's unusual for a modern commuter railroad to do something like this.
