- Here is an aerial update of The Bolt, the Chargers new state-of-the-art practice facility that is coming summer of 2024. The 3 football fields are looking ready for training, and the relaxation pool now is being filled up.

I Remenber when they first moved to L. A
They didn't even have their own stadium
( little soccer Field was their stadium for while )
Now they got their own stadium ( SOFI) & practice facility 👍

20-30 years ago a beautiful new stadium could be built for about $270 million adjusted for inflation. The costs of everything is just nuts these days.

As a San Diegan X Chargers fan, I can't even hate on their decision to move to LA, seeing this training facility! Im just happy for the players, to get their very own state of the art facility. I don't hate them for leaving but its definitely easier to endure year after year of disappointment. If they make it deep in the playoff and win it all, I'd root for them but I dont have to lose sleep over it. Win-win. No hate from me. San Diego on Sundays are still amazing! 🙂

$270 million for such a tiny complex? I could build that for $20 million + land cost.

@@Scott-vk4jv This is how one report described the new Rams facility: A temporary practice facility similar to the one the team now uses at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks will be built on what is now a parking lot next to an unoccupied office tower the Kroenke Group bought in Warner Center in 2022. In that report, a picture shows a group of "portables."
