Having been in that crowd in the south end of BMO Field on the day they qualified for the World Cup against Jamaica might be one of the biggest moments I’ve witnessed live, in my 33 years on this earth. I grew up in Canada, and I remember listening to a transistor radio in Math class when Paul Henderson scored the winning goal of the 72 summit series against the USSR. A huge roar went up all around the school. I live in Spain now, and I'll be streaming the Canada-Belgium game today.
