Wow, so many memories, it was my late wife the one who bought this album (vinyl LP) in a flea market since she knew this band for her Houston relatives, she used to "go wild" dancing and screaming "In a world gone wiiiiild !!!!"out loud... The sexiest thing I have ever seen... Her red hair in the air, her voluptuous body in motion....wow, what a view...miss her so much...thanks for the memories, man...
I heard this song exactly once on the radio back in the late 80's. I recorded it onto cassette tape, and lost it in a box somewhere. I dug the tape out sometime in the late 90's, early 2000's, and turned it into an MP3 file. I subsequently misplaced it, never to hear the song again until right now, today, over 20 years later. It still sounds pretty great!
Clem Burke is one of my fav drummers, DeBarres one of my fav singers. I bought this album THE DAY is was released--yea I know, I'm an old rocker. I LOVE this band. Thanks for posting!!!!!!
I recall hearing that Clem and Nigel were in another band but I never heard and of their stuff until today. This totally has an 80 hard rock feel. Almost hair-bandish.
I can't believe it. Saw these guys at the STONE in BERKELEY in '84. I'll have to check the date on that. (Songkick is good for researching when a show you saw happened). Yeah it was mind blowing. I was a snotty punk and gave Jones a lot of grief like an idiot. Loved Burke's drumming. Trivia: Tony Sales is Soupy Sales' son.
dokken? without the utterly amazing playing of one g. lynch tho...well then...great white? sure...that fits better....maybe april wine? yeah....very 80s generio hairband rock
Whatever comparisons are to be made, it's basically an undeniable product of it's time. By the mid 80's it was almost like punk never happened, and big haired bands with ballsy riffs and epic solos seemed to completely take over again.
Lo mejor del rock en CD neza

This was a great band with incredible songs . I wish I knew why they never got HUGE they are awesome.
Thanks for posting this. This band was pitifully overlooked in the 80's and Michael DesBarres never got the recognition he deserved either.
This album should have been huge! What a Supergroup!
but turned out to be a colossal damp squib
Man, thanks for posting. I haven't heard this since the mid 80s.
Ese metalito se hizo para dar ejemplo a las generaciones que el buen rock es para siempre, halcones 72 grados, Vicente villada. Pista arena. New wave.

As I said in our interview, this is among my favorite stuff in the MDB canon...
Simply put: one of the best punk-rock songs of all time...
