I honestly love the intro and ending sequences. Especially the intro. Bitterman's voice has so much personality and emotion packed into it, Command is multiple people and not just 1 guy, everything is voiced nicely and gets you ready for the absolute carnage you are about to go through.
I just now noticed that first ship in the intro (the smaller one with the nose-art) is called "The Adrianator, I presume after Adrian Carmack, Id Software's lead artist. Actually, based on its design, I think that's one of the same human fighter craft that you see like in that one mission where they bomb a fuel pod.
@@denisofGOW of course I did. Comander Keen, Doom, Quake, stargunner, hocus pocus, jazz... Are some i can remember, and all supossed to be one heroe versus hole armys lol
So fucking cringe, this comment looks like many other comments under old songs from the 70s or 60s where people comment the same, like, "my childhood" and all that, and it makes you (and what's more important, ME) look old. I don't want to be old, Quake 2 is not an old game!
For some reason the only "Cutscene" that shows is the ID logo at the very very start, i checked the files and there's only the ID logo file in it, can you send me the other video files? Sorry if i'm being kinda rude or something
Excellent!, I really enjoyed the brief missions ... The Intro of this game is amazing! - Sadly the video ending of this game is a disaster ... it is the same case of Metal Warriors on SNES
I wondered how the guy's pod could pass and fly-by the big gun without being vaporized on air 🤷 but well I think the stroggs, an advanced space-time faring alien race had their flaws too

The Sounds and Visuals of this Clips scared the shit out of me back then, still today...
its great news that these cutscenes have been remade for the brand new remaster, EVEN with subtitles!
Imagine how you'd feel being the solo warrior after everyone else dies.
3:30 I like how Stroggos looks like an angry face.

So, one dude did all the job? Lol
Casual for id Software protagonists))
Looks like it
If that's really a question, I can assume you've never played any 90s FPS.

@@jdfv92 Ok, so it's not a question. You were just playing dumb I get it.
Thank you so much for posting this man! My childhood! This used to be on RUclips but was taken down, glad to see it back up again.

I have no flight control!, I repeat I have no flight control! , wow that takes me back to so many late night hours totally absorbed in the game 🤘🏻😁
1:49 my favorite line "wake his ass up!"
Спасибо пиратским девяностым, в жизни не знал, что в Квейке есть катсцены
+1

@@Leo.Dalarosa Try Yamagi, it should improve the game alot.
I forgot Quake II had cutscenes. I remember buying the game when it came out and immediately turning them off because I thought they looked stupid.

It never sat quite right with me that Bitterman was caputered and experimented on by the strogg
Calling those green mission briefing interstitials "cut scenes" is generous
but makes them easier to find

Maybe bitterman getting thrown out of the formation let him go unnoticed
I do hope one day quake 2 will make it return to Microsoft mean to the Xbox
Wish they include that game in Nintendo Switch.
ay.
